  • I think representation matters because the world is diverse. you have to do things in respect to other people . like the world cup does not discriminate anyone's culture or tradition. people are influenced by what the see , hear and face. in movies representation can help people to feel welcomed in the society and feel that just because something is different doesn't mean it is bad or wrong.

  • Mine16It had a great impact on my life, because it came at very difficult moments. The story of the movie is very ordinary. It tells about a soldier who stepped on an explosive mine in the desert, and his friend died because of it because he moved. But we discover that the story is not related to the mine itself. The soldier was suffering from the same problems as me. I was living in the same past, ... the words of the Bedouin who was helping the soldier affected me... I remember when the soldier said that there is a mine under me, and if I take a step, it will explode, it will be my last step. As for others, whether under a mine or not... The story shows that it talks about life and no matter how dangerous and difficult the step is and we may lose a lot in it, and in order for our lives to be restored,

it is necessary to move... We donot cling to the past, we forget everything about it, and we move... No matter how difficult our life is, it is necessary to fight and not Let this mine place an obstacle in front of us... Whether it is this step or the next, it may be the last, but we will die bravely...

  • Diversity in popular movies and television series matters because an accurate portrayal of society affects both the over-and under-represented groups of society. Whereas an inaccurate, often offensive portrayal is harmful to both entire communities and also individual people. Representation allows minorities to feel welcomed and accepted and allows us to express their opinions comfortably.

  • Media and film go far beyond being forms of entertainment. Through their way of storytelling, they play an enormous role in the way we understand and shape our culture. The world is extremely diverse which is why representation is so important. There are people of different colors, different cultures, and different backgrounds everywhere. What you see often becomes a part of your memory, and thus a part of your life experience. diversity also allows the minority groups, traditions and cultures to feel included and seen.it breaks certain stereotypes about some cultures.

    1. I agree because not only the media industry understands how diverse and complex our society but anything art related portrays the story of every works of life. People like Shakespeare and Michel Angelo paved the way for minority groups to be represented through telling their stories and creating images that show unity and brings out the unity in diversity.

  • The representation matters but the representations should not be the everything. There are more merits to the similarities than difference.
Diversity is the tool to understand the moods behaviour and culture of the people belongs to the certain region. I believe the right representation of all the races in this world depends upon the giving equal rights of representation to all the races of this world. We need to do some practical solutions towards imbalance of male vs female, white vs black, religion vs ethics etc

    1. attentive_physics an interesting point. What could be done to focus on the similarities over the differences more?

      1. think its easy for people to find differences than similarities but it doesn't mean that similarities aren't there.
Being a student of biology i find it fascinating that human beings share similarities under the skin from DNA to the complicated organ i.e. brain and heart. The biological cell is the foundation of all bodies alive on this earth. Basic cell structure is same but they perform different functions in different organs. The only difference in the commonality is the role assigned in order to keep alive the individuals.
We can see it in any game too i.e. player of football game share the common interest but they have to perform different roles in order to give healthh competition.
I think nature also prefer similarities over difference to make anything more productive. The races on the globe share some common behaviours i.e. smiling when happy, weep when sad, sense of compassion, genetic inheritance and biological factors. They share the same values and family structure.
The answer to the question of how to focus on similarities more over difference is we can do it by arranging events i.e. sports and the people from all races share some common interests in games, science and arts. There must be healthy competitions between the groups of people sharing different and similar interests. In this way they will realise how their differences make them unique by supporting others in the need of the hour and how their similarities can strengthen the coordnation lead to win the common cause.

  • in my opinion representation plays in a huge part of the world for example people might feel upset that their culture isnt in a new film, i play a role in that, as a mixed race girl i personally say that i do not see people of my kind in movies i see a mixture of people which is great but it would be better if we all see a bit more of a mixture in these films and tv shows.

  • Yes, representation matters, when we say representation people might think that we just want to see other races on the big screen, but that is not it, when we say representation, we also mean what role exactly does the person who is trying to be represented play. Yes, we want to see blacks on the screen but we want to see them in a major role a role that makes a difference for us all. Yes, we want to women on the screen but we want to see them be independent, we want to see them without a man, we want to see them owning their own lives. The way and manner we represent humans on the big screen affect us more than we think.

  • Media and movies have outgrown being a form of entertainment. By telling stories, it plays a huge role in the way we understand and shape our culture. The world is very diverse and this is the reason for acting. There are people of different colours, different cultures and different backgrounds everywhere. He legitimized what he saw of your testimony, a manifestation of a manifestation of life. It is also allowed to view it, traditions and traditions. Some pictures are broken
Also, I think representation is important because the world is diverse. You have to do things in relation to others. Like the World Cup, it does not distinguish between anyone's culture or traditions. People are affected by what they see, hear and direct. Acting in films can help people feel welcome in a community and feel that just because something is different doesn't mean it's bad or wrong

  • In my opinion representation enables us to work more effectively in a group with diverse cultures. We r globally recognized nd our way of working improve on the big context .

  • Representation is important to me
Because it revives ancient history, you can learn about the history of many countries through the ages and learn about the cultures of many countries through these films. It is also important when producing series or movies. A person may face a problem in his life. When he watches this movie, for example, he can solve this problem with damage. less
But just as it has its pros and cons, it is possible to make these useless movies that waste a lot of time

  • I believe that representation is one of the most important foundations of life, and this is due to many reasons, including: 1_ It acquaints people with each other's cultures, customs, traditions, dialects, and other things...
2 _ Sometimes you fight some bad habits and hate them.
This makes there progress, development and awareness in society.

  • our children's earl experience, especially the hours spent consuming media, influence what they think to be possible for individuals who are looking like them, live where they live, or come from where they came from. Therefore, representation important because "if she can see it, she can be it" so I believe that representation does matter
