Written standpoint on Elon Musk

Welcome to my standpoint, I’m going to be telling you what I think about the question - “Is Elon Musk’s power a problem?”

Before I start I would like to comment that I want to hear other people's idea as it may change my perspective.

Firstly, some people believe that Elon Musk’s power is a problem because he has failed in using his fame for the benefit of others. For example, when was the last time you heard that the worlds richest man has donated to a charity or organisation which helps deprived people from less fortunate backgrounds? Instead he has used his net worth of a flabbergasting $400 billion dollars for profiting from his vast range of companies and even when he does donate money it is to people like Donald Trump with portfolios of billions of dollars and again this is for financial gain. But others believe that Musk’s power is not a problem as he has revolutionised the worlds evolution in science like making electric cars every day life, sending vehicles into space, making tech that 10 years ago wouldn't have been created and has created renewable energy. Although this is a strong argument I believe that the bad Musk has done overweighs the good and believe that his power is a problem.

Another reason I believe that Elon Musk’s power is a problem is because he is meddling with current affairs in Europe which includes sparking a outrage when commenting that 'Ukraine should give up some of their land to Russia' and used abusive language towards politicians as he does not believe in immigration and has tried to promote the right winged party in the German election recently and the EU were not happy by this and disapproved of his thoughts on this, this shows that because of his power, Musk feels that he can use his platform to make negative comments and language, upsetting people by doing this.

All things considered Elon Musk’s power is important to look at so we do not make future mistakes. After all I said I think this is the perfect reminder that celebrity fame and politics don’t go well together. But as Elon Musk says” failure is not the end.”
