Debunking the Moon myths

The BBC's Newsround published an article that "debunks" (proves wrong) the conspiracy theory that the moon landing was a hoax.

You can read it here.

Once you have read it, have a go at these questions:

1.Why do you think people believe this conspiracy theory - even though there is so much evidence for the moon landings?

2. If you had to pick ONE piece of evidence to prove the moon landings happened, which would you choose and why?

3. What could the media (newspapers, news TV channels, news websites) do in the future to prevent people believing conspiracy theories like this one?

1 - people sometimes flag out that the footprints of the space suit of neil amstrong and the prints on the moon are different

    2) pictures of satellites- today artificial satellites orbiting the moon ,of many nations have photographed equipment left behind on the moon, i believe all the nations cannot be lying at the same time, and to recreate satellite footage, available in public domain is effectively impossible.

    3) the media outlets should publicise human advents in science and tell the sacrifice made by scientists and astronauts to make this forever dream possible.

First, landing on the moon is a term given the reason for the arrival of the spacecraft to the surface of the moon. Not all people believe in this conspiracy. This conspiracy can be discovered by people. Careful observation because it is not an easy or easy matter. She believed this matter from the evidence and did not deny it, and some others did not believe it.
As for the evidence of landing on the surface of the moon, the banner that was fluttering on the surface of the moon, which is the American flag that was fluttering, even though there is no wind on the moon, this is one of the evidence of the lies of these conspirators
It is possible that the media will try to control the disbelief of false theories by guiding these people and presenting them instead of ten evidence so that these people can believe either by spreading awareness and controlling and limiting this lie❤️

We are now aware of the four measures that contributed to exposing this conspiracy, or in other words, exposing their lies
These four procedures were of great importance and benefit that some were able to reach from these procedures. Their words were true, as they did not conduct these research and procedures in vain.
There were also many who doubted the process of landing to the moon, there are people who stated that this conspiracy was fabricated by people 100%, although nothing of those who talked about it and that they landed the moon was true, but they added to that that man could not Reaching the surface of the moon was the cause of this conspiracy, encouraged and greed by the people of stature and high places, which is to make the American man a fool and to make him believe in this false conspiracy, but there is a person who said that he had documents proving the extent of their lies and that he was officially registered, but at that time a false video was released which The cause of the uproar, which is our subject of the fake moon landing was in 1969 and it was one of the most proven and true evidence for this fake topic called the moon landing “First of all, the shadows on the moon, although these pictures can only be taken by electric light and studio.” It is not possible to intersect two shadows under the presence of sunlight, and he also emphasized that such a picture can only be taken with an electric light inside a studio.
Also, this person had his home robbed and he was not missing from his home except for these documents that confirmed the extent of their lies
I think that no more evidence can be mentioned than this, because then they cannot be believed in anything. I advise these people not to manipulate people's minds and make them believe something unbelievable and to be more realistic than that, because no sane person can believe something like this I advise you in the future To be able to communicate some of the things that can be believed and acted upon to your children

    1. The main reason for believing these conspiracy theories is propaganda and illiteracy. It is known to all that if a lie is being told, again and again, it becomes the truth even if it's not. The illiteracy of people makes them think that the following information is false. if we take moon landing as an example, many people thought and think that a man can't step on the moon and when the constant propaganda of Moon landing conspiracy was shown, it became a solid truth for them.

    2. If I was given a chance to prove with one piece of evidence that the Moon landing was not false, I would take the "Samples taken from Moon" as evidence regarding it. The materials brought from the moon wouldn't be found on Earth rather scientific experiments would prove that they have been brought from Moon.

    3. Misinformation and rumours can create chaos in a society just as can false conspiracy theories. When these are propagated, the naive mind of our human being believes it and creates an obstacle to intelligence. If they propagate false news, We have to propagate the truth with evidence with the help of the Media and others. Illiteracy makes a man blind with ignorance. We have to make sure that people are literate and are aware of the news and its justification. Only then, we can control the spread of false conspiracy theories. Thank you!

Yes, you said very well. But you talked a lot about illiteracy. For example, 'Illiteracy makes a man blind'. But do you think in this regards it is very applicable?
There are many large international organisations supporting this conspiracy theory, for example the Flat Earth Society simultaneously to this day is denying the fact. What do you think about such organisations?
Many celebrities and famous personals strongly believe in such theories. For example, Thomas Dolby says' She blinded me with science '. It is completely opposite to your statement.
Do you think it is due to illiteracy? Or do you think it is the strong belief system from where they can't come out? Don't you think most often it is due to the society's superstition with which they are chained?
Or perhaps it is just because they don't want to accept the reality, or maybe some of them know but they just want their influence on others?

Do you think scientists lie? There are many researchers an scientists who think that going to moon was just myth and whenever they are asked about it, they show many proofs, infact I asked a scientist once and he said that camera has to be really strong to be able to take the footage and picture of moon but when Neil Armstrong went there, that time period didn't have that much strong cameras according to his researches. So how can you argue with knowledgeable scientists and researchers? What are your opinions on this dear friend and how are you going to change their thoughts and their beliefs?

I think that people think that the moon landing is fake because travelling to space is such an unfathomable thing that people feel the need to make up excuses for why/how they think it happened,Like in the roman era-people believed in myths and gods to try and make sense of the strange and wonderful world around them. As well as this, people might feel a need to challenge the government-for whatever reasons they may have- so they use large events like the moon landing to try and take away their credibility.
If I had to choose one piece of evidence to prove the moon landing was real(witch is very hard to do since all of the pieces of evidence interlock to make up the fact) it would be the money. I strongly believe that NASA or the united states government would fake such an expensive or pivotal stunt such as going to the moon, I find the very notion that NASA would waste such a colossal sum of money on faking history itself, absurd. I'm not sure if it is legal to show bank statements from government transactions or not, but I'm positive that the money, equipment and shuttles didn't just appear out of now where. perhaps the fact that the USA may be seen as intensely competitive, and grasping at straws to try and win the space race against Russia may also be a reason for conspiracy theorists to believe that the moon landing was fake.
To prevent future conspiracies , the media could provide as much evidence as humanly possible , but I think that there will always be people that try to theorize about what they think really happened: even when what they think may be far from the truth.

A deep thought but thinking of the one evidence, I'm really doubtful of your reliance on the money. The equipments and shuttle might have been for the real but the way they were presented could possibly be feigned. After all, being close associates with a governing agency it's too easy to get a few copies of documents and relevant information. I would rather see the geographic identities of the rocks as an evidence since they clearly proof that they SURELY DON'T HAVE their origin in the Earth.

I think that the moon landing is true even if many people think that it's a hoax.
And there are many proofs that approve this fact
    1) lunar footprints:
As we can see, footprints on earth quickly disappears since earth have got an atmosphere, air, weather... that the moon doesn't have, so I expect that footprints will stay there also, the nasa captured lunar rover track footprints on moom

2)scientific equipment that were installed at moon:

    3)moon rocks:
Some rocks that weighs over 382 kg that all of the tests comfirm that they came from the moon

One of the leading conspiracy theories denouncing NASA's achievements claims that the flutter of the United States flag in the vacuum of space is evidence that the moon landing was a hoax. According to the British National Space Center in Le icester, the apparent movements of the flag were caused by the astronauts themselves, not by the wind.

1- I think they believe in the conspiracy theory because part of them are indifferent in their thinking and have little understanding of the difference between truth and unproven speculation, so everything will seem logical to them.
2- There is a claim that the footprints are very clear and this is not logical, given that the soil of the moon is dry and the footprints appear clearly only if they are on wet soil or sand, and the evidence that this claim is incorrect is that lunar dust looks like finely ground powder and when we look Using a microscope, it will appear as volcanic ash, so when you step on it, it will be compressed very easily and thus take the shape of a shoe that walks over it.
3- All media should work on several things to prevent people from believing Conspiracy theories include:
A - Increasing awareness and enlightenment of people through the development of awareness programs within the school educational curricula.
B -Presenting scientifically proven evidence in a convincing manner.
C - Exposing the promoters of conspiracy theories and their perpetrators by revealing their interests and benefiting from that.
D - Making awareness advertisements targeting each group separately according to their mentality.

There are many urban legends that were not even known when they appeared and therefore are accepted by all but are in conflict with science. Because of these common myths around the world, human health is sometimes adversely affected. We examined popular urban legends that contradicted science and told us what the truth was.

No matter where you live in the world or what culture you grew up in, you've likely heard about urban legends that never had a logical or scientific explanation. Since these myths, which are generally in conflict with science, have been heard in that geography and even in the world for hundreds of years, no one would ever contradict science and continue to believe them as if they were true.

1.The fact that man has landed on the moon is somewhat overwhelming. That's why many people have trouble believing the fact. Besides, some people also want to hold on to the past. As such, they have trouble believing such scientific breakthroughs.
2.The one evidence I'd pick would be the fact that the astronauts brought rocks from the moon. These have been verified as rocks from the moon by identification of several properties of the rocks.
3.Media could provide detailed explanation for such discoveries alongside what general people can easily grasp. Because many advanced readers have various questions about the topic they are reading. In this case, explanation about why there are no stars in the pictures, etc.

According to my personal opinion, human beings have a tendency of being overly-confident in their beliefs which makes them almost IMPOSSIBLE to actually take a glimpse of the reality around them. Even after several proofs and scientific logic, their, still being adamant on their belief makes the saying 'Once an ignorant, always an ignorant' quite true. Mostly these people deny all these theories to prevent their egos from falling apart drastically. They refuse to believe these because of their arrogancy towards their conscience as well as showing excessive importance towards their ego and the fear of being proven wrong.

If I were to pick one piece of information in order to prove that moon landings actually happened, I would have chosen the Moon rocks that had been brought by the astronauts back in 1969 since they were more of a practical proof than theoretical. Since there are some conspiracy theorists hovering around their own egoistic beliefs, practical proofs are better than theoretical ones since they carry a more confident vibe on moon landing.

1/ If I had not seen the evidence, I would have believed them, but there is evidence that they landed on the moon. For those who say that there are no stars in the picture, and we know that there must be stars in space. We see it clearly in the photo and for science the fact is that although it seems to be moving, it is not. When it was stuck in the ground, it would have swayed and maintained its curved shape.

In the videos, he also appears to wave back and forth. This is because when the astronauts were getting into it, they rotated it back and forth to dig better into the lunar soil, making the flag ripple. This is according to what I read in the article. As for radiation sickness, they were exposed to only 18 rads, and this is not the required quantity that would make them exposed to radiation sickness. 2 / I choose the rock guide because many moon rocks contain small glass spheres or burrows. Glass is produced in two ways - in explosive volcanic activity and in high-speed melting meteorite impacts and boulders. Either way, the rock needs time to cool down and slowly crystallizes. On Earth, the elements quickly disable any volcanically made glass. But in space, Sprules remains almost virgin glass. And this according to what was mentioned in the article I chose because it will be the most believable because it is material and will be more believable than pictures and science, and I think they made a good step when they brought it with them because they benefited science in their country and at the same time they proved They landed on the moon. 3 / She can publish the evidence and explain it to people and educate people not to believe conspiracy theories, do the experiment again and document all the moments.

Many people spread rumors, which leads to the concealment and falsification of facts. Many people hide facts to prevent profit or profit for the companies that made these trips or to prevent fame. Journalists and TV news channels must broadcast live documented with the day, hour and date because the majority of the world depends on modern technology for research here. The credibility of the news and the documentation with the eye. First, each of us believes in at least one theory, or perhaps a few: “The reason is simple, there are an unlimited number of conspiracy theories, and if we were to read all of them, each of us would see himself believing in one of them.” This confirms that those who believe in the conspiracy theory are of different ages and social classes and of both sexes
Secondly, the banner that “flaps” on the surface of the moon, the American banner that “flaps” is the clearest example of the structure of landing on the moon, since there is no wind on the moon, so the banner would not have fluttered, except that the movements of the cloth fixed in transverse tension were not from a wind breeze. Rather, it was due to the vibrations of the mast on which the flag was attached, which arise, for example, when it is planted on the moon or when it is directed, according to Ralf Yaumann, of the German Center for Aeronautics and Space Research. Since the moon has no atmosphere, it is difficult to stop the flag's shaking.

First, there's an important thing that we have to consider: "People believe what they want and not especially what is real" in order to answer the question: " why do people generally believe in conspiracy theories?". Actually, people generally people do that because they have no other pieces of information about the subject which is the case for "the moon landing theory" as space exploration is not accessible for everyone, or because people are horrified about something in relation to the subject; which is the case for Covid-19, or simply because it can be just fun to believe; as in a very popular conspiracy theory " The reptilians ".You can notice that the last theory is a catchy topic even through its name. This theory says that most of the world leaders are some kind of humanoid reptiles that are able to change their appearances,... what an interesting subject!... I bet you are curious to discover more about this theory, just reading that now. As you see, this is why this theory has become popular even if it doesn't make any sense ... Then, moon landing happened and we can prove that by the experimental objects brought from the moon and the pieces of moon that are composed of materials that, not only look exactly the same as the ones taken on photos, but they are also rarely encountered on the earth which can be even considered impossible seeing the important quantities that were brought. Of course, without counting the equipment and photos that have proved the moon landing. All in all, to limit and debunk these conspiracy theories, I think that there is an urgent need to apply some artificial intelligence or take some qualified employees to investigate and find out shreds of evidence that prove that the presented information is true.

1.Why do you think people believe this conspiracy theory - even though there is so much evidence for the moon landings?
Answer: Most of the time people like to criticize the successful people. They think it's impossible for people to land in the moon due to various superstitions. Besides when Neil Armstrong landed there and very few witnessed it & the proof can be defamed. They think moon landing is beyond imagination because of lack of developed technology of that time, as a result they started the conspiracy theory.
    2. If you had to pick ONE piece of evidence to prove the moon landings happened, which would you choose and why?
Answer: If I have to choose one piece of evidence to proof the moon landing happened I would choose their taken pictures. Thinking about that time there are very few to chances the pictures would be false. Technology wasn't so improved at that time, so we can accept the pictures weren't edited. Again thinking about other proves like footprints it's very hard to say if the foot prints are really Neil Arm Strong's or not. It's been a while so we are not sure on this factor.
    3. What could the media (newspapers, news TV channels, news websites) do in the future to prevent people believing conspiracy theories like this one?
Answer: They can include documentaries and photos for proving that Neil Armstrong went to the moon. Along with that they can include their interviews with the scientists and astronomers. Most importantly they can do some research on the experiences of Neil Armstrong and two other astronauts along with the geologists. This can make the people believe in these stories.

think that a guide should be chosen is to meet someone who went to the moon or read about astronauts to know and prove the fact that humans landed on the moon.
What can the media do? The media has an important role in educating people who believe in these or other theories. Some spread these false conspiracies or “rumours” just in order to gain some views. We also have to publish this article, which is “You should not believe everything you read” and should to educate children through pictures. animation.

It appeared as if it were flying because the stick on which it was installed was L-shaped upside down. When the astronaut fixed the flag, it appeared as if it was flapping, but because of the flag's reaction to the force and movement of the carrying column and the astronaut, and because there is no air in space to cause a friction force with the flag that reduces the speed of movement, it kept moving. With the same installed strength

Space travel or Spoce flight is arocket flight into outer Space. Space trips are used to discover outer space, and also have. Commercial uses as space tourism. It's hard for common people to understand scientific achievements. So, it's easier for them to explain such events using conspiracy theories. Journalists have to focus on experiences that had been done and materials that had been brought from the space to prove the landing on the moon.Media must simplify the specific terms and concept in order to enlight the road to reality.

    1. Why do you think people believe conspiracy theory- even though there is so much evidence for the moon landings?
I think, because some people are sceptics. They are suspicious of everything.
    2. If you had to one piece of evidence to prove the moon landings happened, which would you choose and why?
I would choose the moon rocks, because for sure they didn't find the rocks on the street. The astronauts have returned with more than 382 Kg of moon rocks, and scientists have confirmed that these rocks are from moon. NASA wouldn't lie, because
America wanted to be on top.
    3. What could the media (newspapers, news on TV channels, news websites) do in the future to prevent people believing conspiration theories like this one?
The media in the future can write more information, more facts, add more photos (if it's possible), theories and interviews with NASA.
I kind of believe that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were on moon, but I doubt a little, cause America likes to add frictional things to their movies and stories, so may be these photos were created ( I mean that, may be the land that they were standing on, wasn't moon), as I said before that America wanted to be on the top, so they could create the photos by themselves. There are some theories about that flight.
    NO STARS.
I have an explanation for that. At that time the cameras weren't perfect, so the zooming was bad, if it existed at all, but I have a question ( How did they transfer the camera to the moon?)
    THE FLAPPING FLAG.
It's weird that the flag was moving, because there is no air and gravitational force in space.
    VON ALLEN BELTS.
The Van Allen belts are huge belts of radiation that surrounds the Earth. Everyone knows that radiation is harmful for people ( okay, not only for people, for all living organisms).
So, these were theories that their flight wasn't real. And there are some facts about that flight that it was real.
    MOON ROCKS.
The astronauts have returned with moon rocks, and the scientists have proved that these rocks are real (As I said before).
    FOOTPRINTS ON THE MOON.
About the footprints... Who knows if this photo is fake or real? But, if it is real, it's great!
EQUIPMENT LEFT BEHIND ON THE MOON.
At first, people were sending to the moon machines and moon walkers, to take photos and tests ( I mean searching for H2O and O2). So, the equipment can be from machines or moon walkers.
Well, that is my point of view. I really hope that their flight was real not fake.
    Thank you! Good bye!

1- I think that the reason why people believe conspiracy theory is correct is that it is in the nature of people to doubt and mistrust, and they always resort to excellence and play the role of experts, as conspiracy theory provides the opportunity to access hidden and important information and that only happens with an expert.
2- In the pictures published by the astronauts, we did not find stars, and this is evidence of the process of moon landing, as there are no stars in the sky.
3- One of the most important roles of the media is that it has a magical effect on people’s minds, so in the future, if the media publishes magazines about the fact of moon landing and establishes satellite channels to educate people about facts and not to believe lies, that will be the best solution.

In my opinion, the reason for not believing the reality of landing on the surface of the moon , The development of science and technology: As we know, technology has become so advanced that we can create a world through Photoshop, and this method has become widely used in films and series, and one of the series that shocked us the most using Photoshop in a creative way this year , and it is the Korean series The Penthouse, where they embodied a large palace in photoshop, which could be the largest residential building in South Korea if it is applied on the ground , but it was just a photoshop rendering, but it really was a great shock to the audience,as well as the theory of landing on the moon, because people became convinced that the illusions that were not applied on the ground are the same as those used in the theory of landing on the moon, rumors begin to spread and since there are not many people interested in this matter, most rely on information and theories of others, and this is how rumors spread with people believing them like a mountain chain, It also results from people's lack of interest in astronomy or the theories of landing on the moon. You will not find many who try to correct these rumors, i.e. people hear the correct theory belie it and do not think to search for its credibility , that is, they are ignorant of the facts and cling to their ignorance and rumours, and this is what will affect us, the adolescent and young group, with negative effects ,where it will not be limited to the theory of landing on the moon, but also most of the theories of astronomy and theories, and theories related to viruses and epidemics, as they will be denied, and therefore no one will believe and will not adhere to safety instructions, and the epidemic will spread and we will not be able to overcome it until after many human and material losses, and also matters related to the economy. If the state faces a problem in the economy, rumors will spread that there is a fraud and fraud , Thus, strife will spread among the society, and perhaps it will become a division among the population, and the division will lead to intolerance of families, as they will not prevent their sons or daughters from marrying a person against the oath in which they are,Any rumors and the society that builds its theories on rumors is a danger to the world in the face of environmental, economic, health and social issues

If we want to take advantage of the media to confront rumors, this means that we also have to work on the media. There is a media that causes spreading rumors only to spread a media frenzy , Therefore, media professionals should work on their sincerity in publishing the news, because this will be beneficial for them, as they will become famous and loved among the people , secondly, their creativity in deducing information in cases because he who works honestly will work hard to achieve deposit in his work, and his creativity in his work will result in people believing the news and denying rumors, because when the journalist innovates in the way of delivering news to people, they will be convinced and abandon their wrong beliefs created by the rumors

Also, the media should diversify the way of delivering news so that it takes into account age groups, gender and interests,Also, they should always ask the community about their opinions regarding theories and their problems, which constitute a barrier between them and the belief in theories

Second: Working on the children’s category through documentaries and satellite channels to gain children’s belief in theories,Because they are the most age group you will find philosophers, they will keep asking questions to their parents or any older person, and because the adults continue to obliterate the philosophy of the young by saying incorrect theories or by silencing them with the word I don't know, the media should also write facts and evidence for the validity of theories on the newspapers, since they are the cheapest and simplest means , And they have to work on believing the adults, because the theories and philosophy of the young generate for us new ideas and theories, as they make us look at points that were not taken into account , if we provide them with the facts, they will begin to doubt, and so they will continue to wonder, and one day the child will reach a logical truth, or will help us reach the truth

There is much third-party evidence of the landings, and detailed responses have been provided to the conspiracy allegations. Since the late 2000s, high-resolution lunar orbiter images of the Apollo landing sites have been able to find tracks and footprints left by astronauts. In 2012, images were released showing that five of the six United States Apollo mission flags on the Moon were still in place; THE ONLY EXCEPT IS THE FLAG OF APOLLO 11, WHICH NO LONGER LIES AND HAS FALLEN ON THE LUNAR EARTH SINCE IT WAS MISTAKLY BLASTED OFF BY THE LAUNCH ROCKET EXHAUST

1/This is not unusual for the united states. In 2015,the university of combridge found that more than half of britons agreed with at least one of a list of five conspiracy theories, ranging from the existence of a secretive group that controls world events to another group that believes in aliens. This confirms that conspiracy theorists are of all ages, social classes, and both sexes, according to professor chris french, a psychologist at Goldsmiths university in london.no matter where you are an a case, there is a chance that you will see conspiracies being hatched against you.
"There may be people who belive that bush blew up the world trade center, and most of these are supporters of the democratic party, or some believe that obama falsified his birth certificate, and most of them are republicans, but it depends on the number of those within each party."
2/ Footprints in the soil of the moon. Many pictures show the traces of astronauts in the soil of the moon. Critics ask: How can hard earth retain the shape of a footprint? Urs Mall, from the mat planck center for solar system research, explains the good stability of the effect by the cohesion of the very soft moon soil, and he said that the components of this soil were never affected by wind or water, and remained at thier edges, which made them stick well to each other.
3/ The media can provide as much human evidence as possible, present scientifically proven data more clearly, reduce the chances of people who believe in these conspiracy theories in the future, and retest and document every moment.

    Answer:
    1. The conspiracy theorists make conspiracy theories as an explanation or solution of an event that is difficult to understand. And they include some features into the conspiracy theories such as an alleged , secret plot, a group of conspirators, evidence that seems to support the theory etc. And people believe in moon conspiracy because it was a big event that was difficult to understand for common people. And the conspiracy theorists added some touches of science in the theory that seemed to have some proofs but actually not. And they made the theory interesting and the media promoted it very much. So, people believed that theory though there were so much evidence.
    2. I would choose lunar laser reflector on the surface of the moon because it was the equipment that astronauts left but still it is working today. And the scientists could exactly measure the distance between earth and moon by capturing the speed of leaser beam as it travelled to the moon and back. Now, what will the conspiracy nuts say after this evidence???
    3. The medias can do manything to prevent people believing conspiracy theories. First, they should keep themselves away from publishing conspiracy theories. Then, they should promote strong evidences against conspiracy theories.
They can tell the people how they can identify conspiracy theories and how to prevent themselves from sharing these theories. And they can make a movement for preventing these theories.

The most notable claim is that the landing gear (1969_1972) were fake and that the Apollo astronauts had never walked on the moon yet 25% of Americans don't believe that.
All these doubts have been refuted by Nasa Agency.
In my opinion , we shouldn't believe everything we hear before making sure that it is really proven by evidence.

Conspiracy theories are spread due to the fact that people are not able to differentiate between the right and the wrong, the true and the false. They want to be able to know about the easy instead of the truth as most people are not strong or educated enough to understand those facts which may be seemed as an impossible affair in the past, which is very basic trait created among people due to prejudice and superstitions created by the people. The same thing happened in the moon landing as the people could not believe that the things which were only though to be tales of children's dreams is now possible. The humans brain, for some, are not able to comprehend this huge stream of information as the neurons are not able to fire quickly enough for them.
The major piece of undeniable evidence is that there are still seeable footprints on the moon. while it may seem to be fairly simple but it has to be understood that this evidence is the mainstay that Neil armstrong did actually put his foot there and as richard nixon said, it was a giant leap for mankind
The media plays a huge role in this regard as they are the main part for the world to get in the proper information. in such regards transparency and proper accountability for them is needed. Only then will we be able to properly be able to distinguish the real thing

Yes, you are right, but there are those who do not want to believe that man can actually reach the moon, penetrate the layers of the atmosphere, survive and then return because of the limited scientific knowledge.
As for the video, most of those who believed in this conspiracy took advantage of the poor quality of the video that was examined in terms of lighting and image. Most of them were photographers who did not understand any knowledge in science or physics, and they judged the poor quality of the broadcast video.

    1) I think so many people believe that the moon landing could be fake because of believing in the amount of space needed to travel and supplied with the facts that Apollo eleven had the same power as a regular mobile phone, and the idea of flying had only begun 60 years before and it might seem suspicious, as well as that is is very easy to fall into a crowd, because of one or two articles, like recently, on the news there was a shortage of fuel, and now everyone is rushing to get fuel.

    2) If i could choose one piece of evidence, I would choose the moon rock, because of all the chemicals and compounds of elements and glass (potentially from debris and hardened rock) and an evidence like that could not be faked, and it could be put in a famous museum for views, and to be shown on the news.

    3) News, newspapers and websites could put more pictures and evidence of proof online, and not starting riots and conspiracies, and encouraging people not to do that. They could also test it on their own before others, and proving to people with physical evidence that the conspiracy isn't real.

However mobile phones were only invented around four decades and now phones have multiple cameras, 4K footage multi participant video calling and 5g data. this information shows that the world is full of geniuses who can create state of the art technology in just a few years.

1_ Moon landing conspiracy theories claim that some or all of the elements of the Apollo program and the associated moon landings were a hoax organized by NASA, possibly with the help of other organizations. The most notable claim is that the six landings (1969-1972) were fake and that the Apollo astronauts never walked on the moon. Various groups and individuals have made claims since the mid-1970s that NASA and others have deliberately misled the public into believing that landings occurred,[1] by manufacturing, tampering, or destroying evidence, including photographs, telemetry tapes and radio broadcasts. The PBS and samples
2- There are subcultures all over the world that advocate the belief that moon landings are fake.By 1977, the Hare Krishna Society's Back to Godhead magazine described the landings as a hoax, claiming that since the Sun is 150 million km (93 million miles) away, according to Hindu mythology the Moon is 800,000 miles away,[e] Therefore, the Moon would be approximately 151 million kilometers away; The travel thatA 91-hour stretch would require a speed of over a million miles per hour, an impossible feat even by scientists' calculations
James H. Fetzer, conspiracy theorist and retired professor of philosophy. On May 2, 2013, Dr. Stirling Harrod gave an interview to Dr. Fetzer. Fetzer defended his conspiratorial views that all six moon missions were a hoax

    * The first claim: The banner that “flaps” on the moon’s surface is the American banner that “flaps” the clearest example of the installation of landing on the moon, since there is no wind on the moon, so the banner would not have fluttered, according to the objection of the skeptics. However, the motions of the cloth fastened in occasional tension did not come from a breeze, but were caused by the vibrations of the pole on which the flag was fixed, which arise, for example, when it is planted in the land of the moon or when it is directed, and since the moon has no atmosphere it is difficult to stop the shaking of the flag. In the videos, he also appears to wave back and forth. This is because when the astronauts were getting into it, they rotated it back and forth to dig better into the lunar soil, making the flag ripple. This is according to what I read in the article. The second claim: Footprints in the soil of the moon: Many pictures show the traces of astronauts in the soil of the moon. Critics ask: How can hard soil retain the shape of a footprint? The soil of the moon is very soft, and he said that the components of this soil were never affected by wind or water, and kept their edges, which made them stick well to each other. The third claim: Repeated “backgrounds” are considered Skeptics The similarities on the Moon are evidence that similar backgrounds are always used in the studio. But the repetition of images is not surprising, as the astronauts took thousands of photos from different angles at their landing site. Fourth claim: There are no stars in the sky. No stars appear in the photos published by astronauts of their landing on the moon. The pioneers set foot on the land of the moon during the day, and the day of the moon lasts two weeks of the days of the earth. The contrast in the images between the bright surface of the moon and the dark sky was too strong to show weak spots of light in the sky.

also the foot prints cant really prove the moon landing of apollo 11 as they could all be from other moon landings but neil armstrong definatly landed on the moon.
also if the moon landing wasn't real it means the space race wasn't real and that means that the soviet union didn't get into space but people believe soviet union got into space so it was posible for the moon landing to have hapend.

About 600 million people were sitting in front of television screens on the night of July 20-21, 1969, eagerly watching the first steps of a man on the moon. Neil Armstrong is the man in a white space suit. With the first human foot on the moon, Armstrong made history. Before that, the Houston Observer Center had said: "Houston, here is the base of the Sea of Tranquility.""The eagle has landed." Armstrong and his colleague Buzz Aldrin spent about two and a half hours exploring the landscape around the landing point. He described the surface at the time as a powder of charcoal, saying, "I can turn it over with the tip of my boots."The National Aeronautics and Space Agency "NASA" accepted Armstrong as a pilot. And in 1966, as the chief pilot of "Jemini", he managed to dock with an unmanned spacecraft in orbit. This was his first appointment with space. After 3 years, his biggest dream came true:Armstrong led the Apollo 11 mission to the moon. He drove the craft manually in the final stage of the moon landing, and exited the craft before his colleague Buzz Aldrin, to be the first man to set foot on the moon's surface. Even in his old age, his heart was still captivated by space. And when he was once asked whether he would fly again to the moon if he had the opportunity, he replied, "I don't think I would get that chance, but I wouldn't refuse if the opportunity came to me."On August 25, 2012 Armstrong died in Cincinnati, Ohio. The documentary highlights a man who was said to have iron nerves and was shy in front of him

1-I think because they do not have any scientific background or experience in any reliable scientific fields or doubt the ability of man to make miracles and achieve dreams that were previously impossible. They claim that man is unable to fly, so how can he reach the moon. Sometimes, I feel that people believe conspiracy theories out of creating excuses, nothing more, for believing in divine superstitions, and that by doing this they are challenging God.I also think that the machines and costs spent by NASA cannot be a lie, as they are in a constant race with Russia to prove their power in space (money does not lie)
2-In my opinion, they are moon rocks, especially as they are the best evidence of man's arrival to the surface of the moon and landing on it after scientists conducted many tests that confirmed that they are indeed from the moon (man believes what his eyes see and what he feels with his hand)
3-I think that journalists and news channels should investigate accuracy and truth and follow scientific evidence and not follow illusions and lies in order to get money or fame first and foremost. They must follow their professional and moral duty and publish and expose everything that causes people to believe conspiracy theories

1.There are a couple of reasons for such belief. Firstly, superstitious mentality is a hindrance to making people believe scientific theories. Secondly, many people find the explanations against this achievement reasonably accurate. And lastly, people's grudge against the governments and institutions play an important role in tampering with their judgement

2.The proof I find easy and reasonable is the sighting of footprints on the moon. Normally, footprints on earth get erased due to wind and several other factors. But on the moon, there is no such environmental factor. So, the sighting of footprints on the moon prove that man has indeed landed on the moon.

3.Media could emphasize on publishing articles dictating the validity of such scientific achievements by giving proper and easy explanations so that even superstitious and scientifically backdated people could believe such events easily.

Conspiracy theories have a long history in the United States, where economic and political crises in the past were sometimes explained by some in the Protestant majority by blaming Catholics, Jews, Freemasonry, and later communism.

Even now, about 10 percent of Americans still reject the fact that American astronaut Neil Armstrong walked on the moon in 1969. Arguably the most popular and popular conspiracy theory among Republicans and Democrats is that Lee Harvey Oswald was not alone responsible for the assassination of President John NS. Kennedy in November 1963, and that the assassination was the result of a broader plot, despite massive evidence that Oswald killed Kennedy single-handedly.

The conspiracy theory that the moon landing was an illusion forced the concerned authorities to provide detailed explanations that refute these allegations.

Claims that Nazi war criminal Rudolf Hess had been replaced by a lookalike in prison were refuted by a DNA test of someone close to him.

Artists Beyoncé, Paul McCartney and Avril Lavigne have faced rumors that they are just clones of their original characters.

Among some of the theories and allegations spread, the existence of a mysterious group called "Illuminati" controls the world, and that its members are celebrities and politicians.

To understand why we are drawn to the idea of mysterious forces controlling political events, we need to think about the mindset behind conspiracy theories.

"We are very good at recognizing patterns and regularities, but sometimes we go too far and think we understand the meaning and importance of things when there is no such thing," says Professor French.

"We also suppose that when something happens, it happens because someone or something caused it for some purpose."

In principle, we see some coincidences related to some major events and make up a story from them, so that this story turns into a conspiracy theory, in which the good guys and the bad guys, and that the bad guys are responsible for all the things we hate.

1-People may have believed the person who was spreading the conspiracy theory because everyone other than astronauts and probably/maybe employees who work at NASA have not been at space before and may have not seen the moon landing
2- the best piece of evidence to prove that the moon landing happen is that the USA flag is still on the moon so astronauts on the moons surface can see that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin have landed on the moon
3- what the media could do to prevent the conspiracy from happening is to put on the news that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin actually landed on the moon

1.the moon landing was a very hard task to complete and people were unsure about it. they didn't believe untill they saw it on telivision which oviously was normal .Because human nature is like that they don't want to believe in something they don't expect. Most of us have limited thinking ability and we don't even want to think something beyond our limits.sometimes we believe these kind of unexpected tasks when we see that those are completed and some of the people don't want to believe it.i think thats why they easily believe the conspiracy theories only because these are in favour of their thoughts about moon landing.

    1) I think its known to all that all kinds of controversial statements have valid evidence for it as well. But as a matter of fact, the human nature tends to believe what the majority is saying or believing rather than the evidences found against it. In the case of moon landing, reporters, researchers have found vital evidence that Neil Armstrong was the first human being to land on the moon; they even published a picture of the footprint imprinted on the moonland. But as Henry S. Heskins said, “The deadliest contagion is majority opinion.” So, it’s not a shocker that people are believing the conspiracy reports which the ‘majority’ is believing. For instance, if someone from an organization didn’t do something to lose his job. He also has enough evidence to prove that he didn’t do anything. But if the majority people their belief that he did it, what do you think will happen? Certainly, the higher authority will think the majority is correct and the evidence are faux even though the majority are believing in the wrong thing.
The same thing is happening when the people are believing in the conspiracy theories of moon landing reported by BBC. Even though astronomical researchers have found enough evidence, sadly a group of people believing in the majority opinion always deny the fact news.

About this whole believing in conspiracy thing, I think it's just the way it's supposed to be. There's ALWAYS this two sides of coin right? Then there's this; some people are trying to make profit outta it (by making YouTube videos, publishing magazines, articles directed towards teens and kids mostly) cause it's quite obvious people or ordinary public would love to listen some against the theory and they're just taking their chance. Both are just human nature.

First, from my point of view People's belief in conspiracy theory increases when they lose faith in traditional and official media, and thus people are forced to invent their own justifications, because nothing the media says is true according to their belief, and nothing happens by chance. Secondly, I think that the broadcast video, which was broadcast directly to all parts of the world, no one denies what his eyes saw. As for those who claim that it was fabricated, they have all been refuted, including the movement of science (it is moved by a reaction to the force of fixation) and not seeing the stars( we must focus on The process and the first step a person takes on the surface of the moon)
Finally, there must be cooperation between journalists and all news networks so that news is broadcast and presented with scientific evidence in the same context so that there is no room for doubt.

    1. I think people believe in conspiracy theories because the theorists present their theories against the original story in such a way that people with lack of knowledge force themselves to disbelieve the actual story resulting in the stories gaining more popularity.

    2. The biggest proofs of the astronauts landing on the moon in 1969 are the 842 pounds rocks brought by them from moon. Moreover these rocks were tested by scientists and researchers around the world.

    3. The best thing media could do to make people believe in the story is to stop the conspiracy theories from gaining popularity. Theories should not be published on medias right away, rather journalists and people working for the media should seek for the true occurrences and verify the theories. Furthermore, news medias can also publish news against the popular theories and make general people aware.

Firstly people believe in these kind of false theories because they don't have enough resources to disbelieve either. But the reason I think the moon landing is true is that they are very advanced in space technologies now . so it is possible that the NASA was compatible enough back then to land on moon. That's why the media should gather all the authentic information NASA has and publish it in such a way that general people find it worth believing.

People believe it because there is evidence that is fake like there being no stars for example. The reason this is because in 1969 the camera quality was very bad and people may say its was filmed in a studio. The light looked like this because it was very dark in space and his suit was bright white. In 1969 they could not make a believable fake rocket ship with editing software because editing software did not exist. Also the picture of the flag in the wind on space is real because there is still a little bit of gravity in space.

1.the moon operation was done quite suddenly so people think and alternate explanation about this big event and the then USA- Russia space war was like adding fuel to the fire. In this time, people who give conspiracy theories showed some science related lame conspiracies against moon landing that can easily seduce common people. So despite lots of evidences people believe that moon landing never happened because it was a quite big, hard and unbelievable operation
2.if I had to pick one piece of evidence to prove that the moon landing happened, I would choose scientific instruments that were left behind during the operation as an evidence because amongst them was lunar reflector that enable precise measurement of the earth moon distance since 1969. Another of them is LSM which was designed to measure the Moon's magnetic field and it prove that the moon does in fact have magnetised features
3.the media should always provide the real news. The journalist's reported news should be checked by authority. If someone intend to spread conspiracy theory, he should be punished by the authority. If they know the truth, they should reveal it,don't hide it. They should let people know what news is fake and what is real.

The exposure on the astronauts’ cameras was too short to capture the space suits and the moon’s surface while also capturing the comparatively dimmer stars. The same thing happens if you go onto someone’s back porch at night and turn on the lights. Even though you can see the stars from where you’re standing, a quick-exposure camera won’t be able to capture them.

    1. Even though there are still so many evidences of moon landings, some people still believe in conspiracy theory because in this era of internet, any fake news can spread easily and most importantly people haven't been physically present during the moon landing rather it was telecasted to the people and there are so many confusing theories on the internet making it easy to confuse the people about the evidence of moon landing.

    2. If I had to pick one piece of evidence to prove moon landing I would have chosen the first video of moon landing. First of all, at that time we didn't have advanced technologies that we have today, so there are less chances for faking the moon landing. and in that video, the flag was moving which some describe as fake - they theorize that in vaccum flag shouldn't have been moving but actually scientifically it was experimented and tested that in vaccum the flag can move because of some kind of movement of the flag stand. so the conspiracy theory doesn't carry any value including the video, so i would choose the first footage of moon landing.

    3. to prevent the spreading of false news media , internet should have strict protocol like banning the news or instantly removing the news from the media and internet. also media should be honest and they should stop spreading fake news for their personal marketing. Government of all countries should have strict protocol for preventing the conspiracy theories like moon landing.

    2. If I had to pick one evidence to prove the occurrence of the moon landings, I would choose the unexpected sightings of equipment on the moon. It is obvious that those could not have been there on their own.

    3. I think the media should take reference from the institutions which have expertise in their respective sectors to prevent people from believing the conspiracy theories. They should ask the person who knows best about the matters. This way the facts the media broadcasts will have near to 100% authenticity.

Firstly, I think that the fact that people believe the conspiracy theory is that it happened in 1969 which was very ahead of the time as PCs or smartphones were not available then. If people landed on moon in 1969 they should have done so on the Mars by now. Secondly the flag was flapping, which should not as moon has no wind like earth.

If I had to show that the moon landing was true I would show the fact that the footprints are still intact as moon has no wind or rain. Secondly the rocks of moon cannot be found on earth. This was proven scientifically.

To prevent such conspiracy theories I think that the media must be independent and uninfluenced by any self or political interest. The workers of media must be honest and avoid all false news. In this way such conspiracy theories may be prevented.

Most of the people who believe the conspiracy theories are mislead or manipulated by leaders of ill propaganda. In my opinion people who are generally more paranoid are more likely to endorse conspiracy theories. In addition, there is evidence to suggest that feelings of anxiety correlate positively with conspiracy belief.
This may be because endorsing a conspiracy theory can generate feeling "special", as if one has unique knowledge. I think it helps to create a specific social identity in believers, an "us vs them" mentality that can bolster those beliefs. As the event was considered impossible back then, the common public were deliberately misled about the event, going as far as suggesting the whole thing was staged and vital evidence destroyed.

I think the most powerful evidence to debunk the conspiracy theory is a simple instrument installed 52 years ago by Apollo 11. During their day on the Moon, Armstrong and Aldrin planted a lunar laser ranging retroreflector array on the surface. It’s still operational today which allows us to reflect lasers off of it and measure the distance to the Moon down to the centimeter. We simply couldn’t do this if we hadn’t visited the Moon. Again, NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) takes high resolution pictures of the lunar surface from a low orbit. During its mission, it has captured the landing sites and the abandoned descent modules and rovers from the Apollo missions. And its resolution is so good it has picked up the paths that the astronaut’s footprints made. Also spacecraft from China, India and Japan have also spotted these landing sites, providing further independent verification of the landings.

According to my way of thinking any form of live evidence for such impossible missions should be broadcasted to the general public. They should be able to watch the whole event and experience the tasks done by the astronauts. And the news portals should make an easy explanation for the general public so that they are not misled by any group of people or any beliefs. People should be educated properly so that they are well aware of the facts. Again whenever there is any hoax starts which is usually from the internet, the people working under the event should immediately come forward with authentic evidence and debunk the theory. Because the longer the hoax has its value, the more people will fall for it.

Ill news runs fast. Presented by the political leaders, journalists or a renowned figure, conspiracy theories are spread in such a plausible way that the oblivious, even the literates, cannot but be convinced. They spread the fallacies specially against their opponents to prove them irresponsible. From the Apollo Moon missions, there are 8,400 publicly available photos, thousands of hours of video footage, a mountain of scientific data, and full transcripts and audio recordings of all air-to-ground conversations. We even have 382 kilograms of Moon rock that Apollo astronauts brought back to Earth. These rocks have been independently verified as lunar by laboratories around the world, ruling out a US conspiracy. In order to prevent people believing in conspiracy theories the media must not spread fallacies instead recheck the information several times before publishing.

1.The conspiracy theories basically started as an intuition that US did not possess the resources to get to the moon and return, that if they reached the moon in the first place. Backing that was the lack of knowledge on space and the natural instinct of people suggesting the space is such an mysterious thing way far from any human reach. And then there was the love for conspiracy theories among the people of US and UK. These altogether fueled the conspiracy theorists and made people believe despite all the proof.
    2. The one thing that proves it all is "Lunar Footprints." In our earth the footprints don't last long due to certain environmental factors, none of which which are present on the moon. And to actually fake that something or someone had to go up there which in it proves the point.
    3. The media itself has been the largest adorers of these conspiracy theories. In the era of Hollywood movies, Fox documentaries, Reddit forums and conspiracy YouTubers, theories like this are surprisingly hard to completely exterminate. The truth is that our curiosity drives us towards these conspiracy theories. We love them. Every time something big happens, somebody has a counter-explanation. The media can try to show all the facts with proof it can, but there will always be someone to protest.

    1. I think people believe 'The Moon Landing' was fake because there was going a inter country cold war type of competition in space science project between USA and USSR and in that situation USSR was quite ahead from USA at first. We can see there was many great initiatives and also some successful projects that proved USSR or Russia was a hard pass for the USA. Example : Sputnik 1, Sputnik 2 (which carried the the first dog in space 'Laika' , Yuri Gagarin Became the first ever human to be in space , Valentina Tereshkova became the first ever woman to be there. These thing then proved that Russia was in top this field and if any country could send anything to the moon it would be Russia. These things were the common belief of general people. Apollo missions were continued by NASA but before 'Apollo-11' none of them could do much highlighted works. Russia was focusing on moon landing and could not compel it accordingly. In spite of that, they stole the audience by the missions as I have said earlier. Media acted a greater role in that situation. When USA declared they were sending Apollo-11 that would carry the astronauts to the surface of the moon, many people took it as a fairy tale because they already thought USSR would it. So when it finally happened people could not blame themselves and started to find ways to debunk it. So even though they have many solid evidences they tried to humiliate this great mission because of their manipulated beliefs.

    Answer to question 2 :
If I have to choose a one piece of evidence to prove that the moon landing was real I would pick 'The Lunar Footprints'.
Because, The moon does not has a similar surface as the earth. So footprints of those astronauts would be visible after a long time. And it exactly happened . Apollo-12,14,17 all proved that there was still footprints and some modern researches also agree with this.

    1. The moon landing is a huge milestone for mankind. Most of the people who don't believe it, actually do not WANT to believe it. Therefore they keep coming up with interesting theories which, after being spread through conversations, lead to such 'conspiracy-theorists'.
    2. I'd pick the flag explanation, since it pacifies those with a curious mind.
    3. The media could-
-> publish articles containing myth debunkers.
-> make articles on the topic from scientific point of view.
-> Present more updates on the moon project.

    1. People doubt moon landing because many people see scientific discoveries as topics of controversies. Another reason nowadays is that people think that man doesn't go to moon now, how would they have gone there many years ago.

    2. One reason I'd pick would be the footprints of man. The footprints were noticed from many spacecrafts of many countries. It is valid enough to prove moon landing as a fact.

    3. Media can arrange talk shows relating to these types of successes. More over news websites can arrange campaigns like 'Moon Myths Uncovered', that clarify many misconceptions.

Firstly, the general mass going through news of conspiracies and political gambles all day long are sure to have some sort of doubts even in the cluster of authentic proofs due to their suspecting instincts and the USA-Russia space war going on at that moment was just a raging flare to add more to the fuel. The way the conspiracy theories were presented all over faster than the herons carrying the authentic news, the mass was a mere pawn to easily believe the critics of the ill-minded conspirators trying to defame NASA.

To me, the "ONE" proof I would select is definitely the huge 842 ponds weighing rocks collected from the of the moon. Their geographical characters have logically and scientifically proved that they surely might have come from an alien surface, precisely, the closest being the moon. Also, the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter presents great evidence in favor of the moon expedition declaring its legitimacy.

And lastly, I must say our media brags a lot about pretty silly issues over the big fishes. The spicing impression of the media has already put its bad image in the minds and hearts of the general mass. So, when two conflicting issues are brought out together the people are naturally confused regarding which one to inhale and which to let go. The media had to get out of its exaggerating nature to win the trust of the people and only publish the legitimate and authentic concept after thoroughly verifying the sources. They must "STOP" the popularity inclining towards fake vague theories and ill conspiracies. In this regard, another thing can be done to enlighten the path by broadcasting the events instantly with the blessings of the advanced technologies of this date.

The conspiracy theories clash on the moon's landing that some or all elements of Apollo and the libraries linked were a trick organized by NASA, possibly with the help of other organizations. The most prominent prosecution is that the six landing (1969-1972) was false and the astronauts of Apollo did not walk on the moon. Groups and individuals have made allegations since the mid-seventh century that NASA and others have misled the public to believe that landing operations have occurred, [1] by manufacturing or destroying evidence or destroying them, including images, remote measurement and broadcasting straps Television and moon rock samples.

War is a word that means enmity between two people. Today, we have another type of war. It is the internal conflict between opinions and beliefs. It is actually a war between truth and imagination, or between science and conspiracy.

In the same vein, people who criticize themselves and judge human ambitions and capabilities, how can they do that without solid experience?!! How can they distort the truth and follow what is against nature, logic, and science!?

I do believe that those people who follow conspiracy theories are looking for entertainment and sowing discord. Therfore, they make up them because of their lack of scientific knowledge by spreading such false news for the following reasons.

First, they do not have any scientific background or experience in any reliable scientific fields or doubt the ability of man to make miracles and achieve dreams that were previously impossible. They would claim that man is unable to fly, so how can he reach the moon. In other situations, these people believe conspiracy theories for the sake of creating excuses, and believing in divine superstitions. By doing so, they are challenging God. I also think that the machines and costs spent by NASA cannot be a lie, as they are in a constant race with Russia to prove their power in space (money does not lie).

Secondly, there would be moon rocks, which are the best evidence of man's arrival to the surface of the moon and landing on it after scientists conducted many tests that confirmed that they are indeed from the moon (man believes what his eyes see and what he feels with his hand).

To conclude, journalists and news channels are recommended to investigate accuracy and follow scientific evidence. They also should not follow illusions and lies in order to get money or fame first and foremost. Otherwise, they must follow their professional and moral duty and publish and expose everything that causes people to believe conspiracy theories. In other words, they have ro trust the truth and science. Otherwise, if we get confused, we should trust our intuition, so we don't fall into the moon myth!

1 and 2- I think that people do not believe in what is going on the moon, because the natural mind, as soon as it thinks about this subject, enters into an endless spiral and keeps thinking for a long time and asking itself many questions, how were they able to break the earth's gravity? And how can they live on the surface of the moon? But have you ever asked yourself whether the things and rocks that they say are from the moon are really from the moon? The answer will be yes, it is from the moon, but how can I believe that it is from the moon?( 2) The answer is simply that these rocks and strange things are nothing like them on Earth, and scientific research has also proven that they are from the moon. And if you ask me what proof I will use to make this kind of people believe, my answer will be what I said earlier

    (3) In my opinion, social media and the media have a major role in persuading them. But how? There are several methods, including live imaging of the journey to the moon. And also put the rocks brought from the moon in a museum and put evidence and research next to it Also, some scientists say that in the year 2050, a trip to the moon will be as natural as a trip to a city of games

    1. I met with a conspiracy theorist and asked him the question, " Why do u believe that Apollo 11 didn't land on the Moon?" He told me, " I'm gonna ask you a question i.e. Why are u imposing us (conspiracy theorists) to BELIEVE that 'Apollo 11 landed on moon' and What is your benefit if we believe that, moon landings happened?" There is another thing for that they hardly could believe that moon landing happened i.e. ' The flapping flag'. As they think that the arguments that have been put forward are not strong enough to change their thoughts.

2.If I had to pick ONE piece of evidence to prove the moon landings happened, I would choose 'Footprints on the Moon' BECAUSE there are strong evidences on this and I don't think they can argue against that. As for example; it is known to all that the moon has no surface activity like Earth, so the footprints of the astronauts remain unchanged and it is predicted that the footprints can last a million years on the surface of the moon. If the theorists go for this link:- https://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/LRO/news/apollo-sites.html
they will be able to read an article, published on 6 September, 2011 where it is given, on that day, Nasa's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) captured the sharpest images of the Apollo 12, 14 and 17 landing sites. They will also be able to see the pictures, taken by LRO.

    3. There might be another mission, suppose Apollo-18, through which the news channels would go to the moon and broadcast live of the landings of other Apollo missions and the footprints of the astronauts.

1• On the 20 July 1969, Commander Neil Armstrong and lunar module pilot Buzz Aldrin - both American - landed the Apollo Lunar Module Eagle on the Moon.
    • A few hours later, Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the Moon. Around 650 million people watched the moment on television.
    • It was one of the most important moments in history.
    • Even though there's lots of proof that the Moon landing happened, some people don't believe it.
    • People who suggest the Moon landing didn't happen are often called conspiracy theorists because they believe it was a hoax set up by Nasa

2-If you find yourself in a debate questioning whether humankind first stepped on the Moon on 20 July 1969 the chances are that you are woefully underprepared. Most people take it as gospel that the US Government, NASA, the 12 astronauts in total who have walked on the Moon and the 400,000 people involved in the Apollo programme would have neither the will nor the way to fake one of humanity’s greatest ever achievements.
But there are those who think the landings were a hoax. They claim the US Government faked Apollo 11 and later missions either to deal a crucial blow to the USSR in the Space Race, or to boost NASA funding or to divert attention away from the Vietnam War. The argument for any of these viewpoints rests on finding evidence that the landings were faked.
And more often than not, people point out peculiarities in specific images or videos to deal the critical blow. If someone uses these oddities as evidence, what do you say? Here are the most common arguments that support this view, and why each of them is wrong.

3-the media outlets should publicise human advents in science and tell the sacrifice made by scientists and astronauts to make this forever dream possible
And they can make a movement for preventing these theorie

The fact of landing on moon is somehow overwhelming to the people. The moon landing was a very hard task to complete and people were unsure about it. They didn't believe untill they saw it on telivision which oviously was .They actually could not believe this fact mainly for having less knowledge on technology .
Another thing is that the news of not landing of moon People believe it because there is evidence that is fake like there being no stars for example. The reason this is because in 1969 the camera quality was very bad and people may say its was filmed in a studio .The light looked like this because it was very dark in space and his suit was bright white. In 1969 they could not make a believable fake rocket ship with editing software because editing software did not exist. Also the picture of the flag in the wind on space is real because there is still a little bit of gravity in space.
ON the other hand the one thing that proves it all is "Lunar Footprints." In our earth the footprints don't last long due to certain environmental factors, none of which which are present on the moon. And to actually fake that something or someone had to go up there which in it proves the point.. The media itself has been the largest adorers of these conspiracy theories. First, because there are people who believe in something realistic, and the photographer says that they did not land, it was all a montage that they manufacture
Secondly, there is evidence, such as spacecraft, also recent technological correspondence through communication from the ground
Third, by broadcasting such evidence, such as correspondence, technology from space, photographing spacecraft and showing it to viewers, they may be believed.

I don't believe in the conspiracy theories as some evidence stood out to me so much that there no way I wouldn't believe in it such as: they brought back a space rock from the surface of the moon the video seemed realistic and so was the story about what happened to the flag. Also it took 76 hours to get there which is 3 days and three days is what lot's of other astronauts as well as him got to to the moon.

According to my opinion, NASA should collect all those claims, evidences and logics against that event first. Then they should prove each of their invalidity through logical and scientific explanations. And finally they should publish and present those in front of the whole world using all international media so that to this matter is completely clarified.

In all of human history, only 24 people have ever flown to the vicinity of the Moon, traveling hundreds of thousands of miles from Earth to do so. Twelve of those people, on six independent missions, actually set foot on the lunar surface. We've left flags, photographs, seismometers, mirrors, and even vehicles behind. We've brought back rocks, dirt, and literal pieces of the Moon upon our return to Earth.

These monumental moments in history, of landing on the Moon in the late 1960s and early 1970s, are not a part of the memories of the vast majority of people living today. Unsurprisingly, some of them are skeptical that it ever happened. Thankfully, in science, we don't need to be there ourselves to have proof. Here are four different pieces of evidence we can point to that demonstrate the Moon landings actually occurred.

With Neil Armstrong's small step for a single man, humankind took a great leap forward into the space age, demonstrating our potential for reaching other planets and extending the reach of human civilization far beyond our Earthly bonds. Generations later, in 2019, we're still dreaming of traveling to other planets and other solar systems throughout the galaxy.
Yet there are many who proudly declare that they don't believe that human beings have ever left Earth. That NASA and the entire space program is nothing more than a ruse, a hoax, or a civilization-scale fraud. Like most people alive today, all six of humanity's Moon landings occurred before I was born. Still, I'm 100% positive they really did occur, and we have overwhelming evidence to prove it right at our fingertips.

1.) We can still see the evidence of the Apollo program on the Moon, even today. Here on Earth, marks that we make on our world are temporary. Footsteps in the sand disappear after mere hours at most, as the motions of Earth's winds will erase any coherent patterns that we can make, and will rearrange any dunes on the same timescales. But on the Moon, there are no oceans, no atmosphere, and no forces to shift the particles that compose the lunar regiolith.

Whereas on Earth, we have an atmosphere, weather, liquid water, and living species, the Moon only has the occasional weak moonquake and the rare visit from an extraterrestrial impactor or, in the case of humanity, lander or visitor. If we truly did walk or land on the Moon, therefore, we'd expect that the evidence of our presence would still remain today. The reason is straightforward: without terrestrial phenomena that move and rearrange the particles on our surface — without winds, rains, snows, glaciers, rockslides, etc. — the only way to rearrange solid grains of particles are via impacts. Unless there's an event that kicks up dust, which can then migrate and settle elsewhere across the lunar surface, any changes we've made to the Moon should remain visible on the scale of a human lifetime.
In other words, if we ever did truly land on the Moon, the telltale evidence should still be there. All we'd have to do was return to the sites where the documented landings occurred and photograph them today. This is not simply a thought experiment, but data that was decisively collected years ago, when NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter mapped the entire Moon's surface. The Apollo landing sites, in particular, are extremely well-documented.

    1. People still believe that moon landing is a conspiracy theory and it is because that in that era when this incident happen people were less acknowledged about the technology and we all know that how much influence can political war can create and lastly after the fast landing on moon people still didn't visit the moon 2nd time and for me somehow that have made the conspiracy theory a little bit more strong .
    2. the biggest evidence to believe moon landing was a successful event i would strongly choose the evidence that is the left over machineries (which can still seen by the satellite's reflection).
    3. Lastly in case of media what they can do is convincing the mass people. they can run some program about how we can travel to the moon or what is the mechanism used behind this or run some documentaries regarding this .lastly can do talk shows with the people who are still working on this case .

I personally believe that the moon landing was real even though people may think it was fake. The first reason it could be fake is there were no stars in the background but in my defence back in the time when the moon landing happened (1969) the cameras would not have been as good as they are now but i understand if people don't agree.

1 - People believe in conspiracy theory because the human mind does not understand that a person reaches the moon because it is a complex process and does not understand the scientific process. If you are not educated and don't read about the updates of science and space, it is a bit hard to believe a complex trip to the surface of the moon. Also, People usually tend not to believe in things they didn't experience by themselves.

2-The banner that "flaps" on the surface of the moon The American banner "the flapping" is the clearest example of the structure of landing on the moon, since there is no wind on the moon, the banner would not have fluttered, according to the objection of sceptics. However, the movements of the cloth held in transverse tension were not caused by a breeze, but by the vibrations of the mast on which the flag was fixed, which arise, for example, when it is planted in the land of the moon or when it is directed, according to Ralf Yaumann, of the German Center for Aeronautics and Space Research. Since the moon has no atmosphere, it is difficult to stop the flag's shaking.

3- The media has a major role in proving that man reaches the surface of the moon by explaining what is happening on the surface of the moon through documentaries. These documentaries should be simple so all people can understand and enjoy them. The media can explain the moon landing through cartoons and caricatures that will arouse people's curiosity to learn more and more about space. Also, explaining the benefits of technology in life, especially in the manufacture of satellites. Updating people of what is happening in Space and using simple and various ways to explain Space updates are great steps toward saving people from believing in conspiracy theories.

There is a lot of undeniable evidence, and it is believed by others by all standards of the human mind, and some evidences resolve the great controversy. To be more objective. I think it is a needless lie that has already been told for no reason, but arrogance and greed, to make every man believe that it is true as much as possible to be convinced of. This is the role of the conspirators, the most exciting thing, I think, is shocking in itself. There is a man named Cypril who says that He has interesting secret documents from a security guard who says he saw them while NASA and the CIA were filming the fake moon landing in 1969 at a sugar base, and that these documents contain a list of 15 government employees, which allowed them to see the alleged landing,, As for the man Sibril He waited for 10 years for the secret to rise from these alleged secret documents, and that he would announce them to the public after 10 years had passed, so many contacted the man with reservations about information, so they were surprised by the theft of data and documents from his house and that his house He was robbed just to steal that data!!! I think that the biggest evidence for the falsity of landing on the moon is 1- the images of shadows on the surface of the moon, and to confirm the claim of the shadow images, the specialists emphasized that such images can only be made in a studio under an electric light. During which it is dangerous for them 3- How can two shadows intersect under the sun’s rays at 90 degrees from objects 5 meters away from each other and stressed that it is absolutely impossible to discuss it cut off because this is an indisputable phenomenon,, 4- Also, the response to communications with the earth was clearly instant This suggests that they were around the earth. Perhaps in this place, with my simple information, I can convince you of the falsity of these conspiracies.

I think the lunar landing is considered fake. Space travel is immeasurable and I feel I need to come up with excuses for why / how it happened. As in Roman times, people believed in myths and gods and tried to understand the strange and wonderful world around them. In addition, people may feel the need to challenge the government for some reason, so they try to steal their trust using big events like the moon landing.
If one had to choose one piece of evidence to prove that the moon landing was genuine (the witch is very difficult because all the evidence is intertwined to justify the facts) , It will be money. NASA and the US government are confident that they will forge expensive and important stunts like the moon landing. I don't know if it's legal to present a government statement, but I think money, equipment, and shuttles weren't just displayed. Perhaps the fact that the United States is considered very competitive and is reaching for straws to win the Space Race with Russia is also believed by conspiracy theorists to be a fake lunar landing. It may be the reason.
The media can provide as much evidence as possible to prevent future plots, but I think there are always people trying to make a theory about what they think actually happened.

Agence France-Presse has entered a world of a mixture of European conspiracy theorist culture.

Among the adherents of these theories are Q-Anon, extremist Protestants, right-wing populists, pro-alternative environmentalists, CEOs and unemployed people, and even doctors.

The rise of this heterogeneous mixture is alarming the intelligence services, who fear destabilizing European democracies.

"Que Annon's theories reach France," said Laurent Nunez, the national coordinator of French intelligence.

European groups affiliated with the Que Anon movement or its auxiliaries abound on social networks, where they gather supporters. The “Decodor” group in France has thirty thousand members on the Telegram application, while more than one hundred thousand people follow the two biggest faces of conspiracy theorists in Germany, Attila Heldmann and Xavier Naidoo. Britain's Charlie Ward has about 150,000 followers, showering them with videos in support of former US President Donad Trump.

In the heart of families, some stand helpless in the face of the delinquency of their relatives, as Paul witnessed, who watched his mother slip little by little to the other side.

    1. The moon activity was done unexpectedly so individuals think and substitute clarification about this large occasion and the then USA-Russia space war resembled fanning the fire. In this time, individuals who give paranoid notions showed some science related faltering intrigues against moon handling that can without much of a stretch tempt commoners. So notwithstanding heaps of confirmations individuals accept that moon arrival never happened on the grounds that it was a very enormous, hard and unfathomable activity.

    2. If I needed to pick one piece of proof to demonstrate that the moon arrival occurred, I would pick logical instruments that were abandoned during the activity as a proof on the grounds that among them was lunar reflector that empower exact estimation of the earth moon distance starting around 1969. One more of them is LSM which was intended to gauge the Moon's attractive field and it demonstrate that the moon does truth be told have charged highlights.

    3. The media ought to consistently give the genuine news. The columnist's accounted for news ought to be checked by power. In the event that somebody expect to spread paranoid idea, he ought to be rebuffed by the power. If they know reality, they ought to uncover it,don't conceal it. They should tell individuals news counterfeit and what is genuine.
