Think of a thought bubble

Hub Headings Monday Challenge (1).png

Below is a photo taken from a demonstration against climate change in Brussels, Belgium on October 10, 2021, ahead of the COP26 climate summit. Photo: Alexandros Michailidis, Shutterstock,

climate protest.jpg

Add a thought bubble for the two main people in the photograph - the younger man holding the sign and the older woman folding her arms.

What do you think they are thinking? How might they view climate change at their different ages?

Remember, this is just one photograph and captures a split-second. No one thought bubble will be correct, and we cannot draw firm conclusions from this one shot alone.

Keep each thought bubble to ONE sentence only.

think the man on the left is thinking (My climate is screaming and my planet is dying) His demonstration stems from his feeling of real danger, his voice must be heard, and fruitful results come out
I think the woman on the right is thinking That this will not do any good, and we have no trick in that, and you will not find anyone who will hear their voice

You are right, but I do not think that your words expressed well the anger that appears on their faces. The man in his face says: You are sleeping on your stomachs and you leave responsibilities on the side of the bed. In turn, pollution increased and the environment worsened

Maybe she's saying I'm tired so i thinking of a plan to listen to us
      Or maybe
She says I think of a plan to solve this crisis

From my point of view the younger man thinks of "be aware"
What was written on the board does not mean (Wake up) in the sense of (Wake up from sleep!), but it means (Be aware of your assumptions!)
And in my opinion, he looks at the issue of climate change seriously and anger, because he (young) and the youth group are the ones who care the most about this matter, and they are ready to save the matter!

As for the old woman, she suffices her hands, meaning she appears resentful, nothing more, because she is old and cannot do anything to save the matter!
(She can't be thinking of anything other than mine but that she is concerned about the world)

You are mistaken, if she is upset about it, it does not mean that she is not able to do anything, because everyone has something to do and she has enough experience in life that young people may benefit from later.

I don't agree with you that an old woman can't do anything, she can use her life experience to get people's attention.
Age is not a barrier, but rather opens new paths for a person
Such a solution might be suggested by the old lady:
Writing several articles or several awareness topics for young people. Of course, this old lady raised her children and knows what catches their attention
Or she can benefit young people with her ideas or experience
Because walnuts have experience and youth have enthusiasm

Well, I think that the young man thinks very seriously if you notice his facial features!!
And it is not by chance that he drew fires on the globe, but rather that he imagined himself to be the globe, and drawing the fires is an indication of the ignition of anger at what people do with it!
But the old woman is different, so her face does not give any features of feeling or interest in what is happening, perhaps because she is just old and unable to do anything!

Well, I'll keep every bubble with just one sentence, first the man holding the sign should be heard by the people and the government because his sign is more attractive than the woman on the right who thinks about mitigating climate change her thinking doesn't work. If the man did what the woman did, he would not hear his voice or his decision. The idea of a sign is more attractive to people and the government than a woman who folds her arms.

As it says on the sign “WEKE IP!” It means wake up, that is, wake up to save the countries of Europe. The countries of Europe are polluted and burning because leaders and the elderly are not held accountable for curbing climate change. This little man must be listened to by the people and the government. A woman who folds her arms is certainly thinking about mitigating climate change, but a man's sign is more attractive than a woman who folds her arms.

In my opinion, they both come to the same goal (their discontent with climate change) and what will happen next, while they are afraid for their loved ones and themselves of the danger of climate change. How can they view climate change at different ages?! 1) The young man holds a sign that says “Wake up.” In my view, this sign means leaders, leaders and people, wake up to what is happening here. Perhaps the planet will burn because of your ignorance, lethargy and lack of concern for the environment, which will lead to the destruction of all of us. 2) The elderly woman, I think, is upset with what is happening now in our generation. I do not deny the benefits of technology, it is what made us wake up and see what is happening on our planet, but it also had a negative impact. Without technology, huge machines and factories would not have been found that polluted the environment and also had an impact on the youth group, as it left the hands of labor and made us rely on machines now. It is difficult to revive youth and make them contribute to finding solutions in the simplest of things, even by planting a tree. Now every young man sits on his mobile most of the time and does not care about life matters, so I think that the future youth of the future are in a state of loss, unlike the old generation.
