Some people think that we might one day use robots to do the jobs that animals currently do for us.
Some also think that as people become more aware of animals' rights, using animals for work might become against the law.
However, others might argue that robots could never do the jobs of animals and that it is possible to use animals for work whilst respecting their rights.
So what do you think?

No we might never stop using animals for work, look at it from this perspective if we start using robots we all know at first the use of them will be expensive and people will not want to buy the robots also robots use artificial intelligence they should be smart enough to not want to be laboured. What do you think
Totally agree with you champion_elephant's, and if that happened then only millionares and richest people will have access for them widning more the financial gap between people.

Do you have any evidence to support this claim? Can you do a little bit of research on how A.I works? Perhaps, human beings might have a hand in programming how robots work?
We all know how people say one day the robots will rule everything. It seems stupid but ever thought about how with their artificial intelligence they can over run their programmes
Hello @champion_elephant. You make a good point on acknowledging how Robots with its accompanied A.I could overrun their own programmes. However, could that issue not be ascribed to human errors in programming these robots ? Can you do further search on Robots malfunctioning ? Perhaps human beings still have critical role in shaping how on robots work effectively in the future.
Sadly we cannot blame humans for their incompetence and lack of knowledge I mean its a little ridiculous do you not think they are programmed to work, take care of humans and keep them safe yet there is always some type of loop hole that allows them to malfunction I in no doubt see it as the humans fault, robots programmed to be void of emotion and have one purpose serve and serve alone starts feeling joy, anger, sadness and humans in our ignorance just let them be until they are beyond control.

We do not stop using animals at work. I disagree with imaginative_world’s because dogs are not being tortured by this , and biologically dogs have the ability to detect the smell of anything or anyone from far places . But the real issue we need to talk about is that numerous animals are being tortured under scientific tests and cosmetic ones which cause them harm, illness and even death , as for rabbits . Furthermore, we should put those animals in the first place where if it’s possible to go these tests on plants then it’s the best option , but at the same time we should take under consideration that every plant we take a thousand is planted .

My answer is no. I said this because progress in developing countries is very weak because of the delay in technology. They will not be able to stop or dispense with the use of animals for work because they do not have the modern, advanced equipment. I have said this because Firstly, we need animal's because they can help us by carrying thing's and most importantly, they each have a skill. If we didn't have animal's we wouldn't have food and we could have no heavy animals to carry things. Sometime's we don't need animals because we're human's and we can do our own things but sometimes also we need animals for helpful things, for example, cockroaches find you in collapsed building's. Also, animals should be treated as fair as us. Overall, I think we will carry on using animals because they are useful to us.

I think its not possible to stop using animals for work like the cyber roaches we are talking about are really helpful another example is walking dogs that assist people without sight in walking. I am not sure as this technology path can fork in two routes. The first route would be that advanced technology would bring robots to the world where they would make all people's life much easier. Soon after, there would likely be more robots than the world's population. On the other hand, citizens could take no interest with this new product due to the exaggerated price. Everyone wants more money so they will likely set the product at a higher price knowing there will be a myriad of customers. This will only make the case worse as poverty is spread widely in the world leaving only the rich that would buy this robot. Therefore, many will stick to using animals for various tasks while others will have the time of their lives relaxing while their robot does the work.

My answer is no.
I said this because robots do not think the same way as animals, which might prove them inadequate to replace an animal in their job. All robots are restricted to their programming, meaning they would not know what to do when they are in a situation that the robot's programme does not include, whilst animals can think around the problem. Also, if robots replace animals in work, some people might think animals would be now useless. I guess I don't have a specific point of view!
So I say:
1_Robots can never do the jobs of animals because robots don't have that complex nature that animals do!
For example: "Bees" bees are considered (the balancer of plants!), meaning that they have a major role in the growth of flowering fruits and produce honey, which is a good treatment for many diseases! And the robot is not able to make a bee because it does not have those complex organs or organs that bees have!
(Additional information: A bee pinch is enough to kill all cancer cells in the human body, according to biological studies!!)
2_ I think that robots can be relied upon for simple tasks!
For example: humans use some animals in agricultural work, in order to carry and pull carts that carry seeds and agricultural crops, and some animals are used in plowing agricultural lands, such as: donkeys, horses, and mules..!

Why are we making them done the work? The same job can be done by a machine too. A machine maybe costly in normal life but let me remind you the phone you are using today on your palm has a storage of 16-256 GB where 280MB had a size of a room in 1960s.
Life is mortal where machine is made. Due to training or work purpose many animals overgo last breadth or separate from family or normal life. You may say they are getting better life and food here compared to the jungle or where they used to be. My question is Who has confessed this to you, the animal?
My stand is, we need a mindset where instead of investing money to train animals, we should invest our brain and money on Researching easier, affordable, acceptable, problem solving inventions. The result will be the same that is the work will be done, and many species will get few more time on her mother Earth.

I said this because animal dump is still the best organic manure that serves as fertilizer for our crops. People cannot stop using animals for their farm work because not every farmer can afford farm equipment or machines like tractors. People can not stop using animals to do a job because they are less expensive and faster than human beings. In my personal opinion over time animals will not be used for work, as like with humans, they could be replaced with robots. Robots are more efficient, don't need training, don't need feeding and will do as programmed to do. In business bosses will want the most cheapest and efficient method to make as much profit as possible. While robots are expensive to make over time we will find cheaper solutions to build and create robots. This has happened before, in the past horses were used as a wide method of transport used by all. But with the invention of the car in 1886 this all changed and horses were no longer as used.

I said this because there is a very strong connection between people and animals often times, people feel safe, happy and secured around most work animals. The presence or having these animals around is often a relieve and would help lower stress levels for the owners because the animals will help to carryout jobs that may be difficult for the owners to do. In as much as some works/jobs done by animals causes them pain and psychological trauma, I feel we can only limit the use of animals but we can not completely stop using animals for work.

I said this because a lot of animals are useful to us in our daily lives and we need them to do work such as donkeys to carry heavy loads, cows for ploughing of land, camels and horses for transporting people, dogs as guards, tigers for entertainment, animals for detecting diseases like the African giant rat used in detecting tuberculosis etc. The African giant rat can also be used to detect land mines, these animals can cover much more ground than humans, one fact here is that detecting land mines is slow for humans. So in my opinion I don't think we will ever stop using animals for work.

I said this because animals do a lot for humans in the area of research from investigating potential treatment to disease conditions to testing for the use of drugs and other devices. I think using animals in research can be cruel and sometimes meaningless as what is observed in animals might not be the same in humans. Animals need to be protected from this form of cruelty as animals suffer and die every day in the laboratory from poisoning, burning etc.
