should children be allowed to vote?

I think that children sould and shouldn't be allowed to vote

The reason i think we should be allowed to vote is that the choices that they make and decide will not affect their future but ours so we are the more vurnable people and if it is a bad decision that is most likely to affect us not them.

I think that we shouldn't be allowed to vote because some children might have not matured yet so they could make bad decisions which they and all of us children will have to live with and those decisions we might have to live with forever.

My cousin thinks we should be allowed to vote because if children don't want to leave the EU and adults don't want to leave the EU then there will be more of a chance for leaving the EU to win. On the other hand, the people who do want to leave, it wouldn't be fair because some people want to leave and some people don't. I didn't quite get where he was going so I asked him but what if children don't know much about politics and Brexit? Would they still be allowed to vote? He said "no because they might do something wrong since they don't know about politics and just randomly choose something. So I think I will change my mind and say children shouldn't be allowed to vote"
