Books are a solution to all problems

COP26 Featured Image 2

My dear readers, today I will talk to you from my own perspective on this topic that I will talk about, which is that books are an effective solution, but you need someone to use them correctly in order to be able to make a clear difference.

I am one of the people who are interested and enjoy reading books, whether they are from any section, they all benefit me and give me new information to open my mind to think of solutions and think from different sides This came to my mind, why do we not use books as a solution to the issue of climate change?!

1 Like people who are interested in reading like me, when they are going to read a book about climate change, it will first make them aware of this huge issue and they will start telling those around them about the issue Others will become aware and awareness will spread among them and their interest in this issue will become more

Second, after they read the book that talks about climate change, their thinking will be opened to the extreme and they will start thinking of solutions to reduce these factors to reduce the phenomenon of climate change, and then they will publish their suggestions on their websites In social communication, for example, in order for the government to see it in the country, and it can take this Solutions to consider and also try to use them in the solution.

2 Let me mention that Al Gore's book on climate change got a lot of support and encouragement from people and he also won an Oscar, but the problem here is that no book has been released after Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth On climate change, my second suggestion is to establish an institution that produces books that talk about the factors causing the phenomenon of climate change and its effects, and to write in interesting ways, and I am sure that if we do this, it will receive great attention and support.Even if there is a group that is not interested in this issue, most of them remain, whether men or women, because it affects the areas of their daily lives.

3 Develop a simple book that talks about climate change in all its details and add it to the educational curriculum in schools for students and use it as an activity that educates students about this issue from a young age, and then little by little their thinking and perspective will grow in this problem Also, some students may take this issue as a research for him when he grows up and try to find ways and a solution to this issue Because I saw that education in Japan continued all the inventions they had reached so far. Basically, it was a point they took during their education at school and became more experienced in it and did research.

The more we read books about the phenomenon of climate change, the more we have a greater culture and awareness, and we become a conscious, educated society that does not underestimate these huge problems. Climate change and weather, we will try to find a solution to it and take one decision to agree on it and work with it to reduce this phenomenon

If we make this proposal that you suggested to use books as a revolution to reduce the phenomenon of climate change, and this method actually succeeds and reduces and limits climate change, then it will be a trump card for future generations in using this method as a problem of climate change

The big question is: how does reading help us to learn about different perspectives on climate change?

I , personally disagree with what you said. Yes, of course books can play a role in solving the climate change crises, but if we actually think about it..How many people actually are interested in reading books? What about the people that can't even read? Here, In my country Egypt, The illiteracy (people who can't read or write) rate is 24.6%. And that is not a small number. And that's only in Egypt, I didn't even talk about other countries. What I think we should do, is try to share this serious problem on social media. I know alot of people talked about sharing it on social media but, considering the amount of people that are more interested in their Instagram account or the way they look on social media these days, this is the best way. For example, The famous people that came out FROM social media. The influence these people have on social media users is actually huge. Let me remind you that the amount of social media users are over 3.6 billion people. 95% of them are from the ages of 18 to 29. Ninety percent of teens ages 13-17 have used social media. Seventy five percent report having at least one active social media profile. So why not instead of posting dancing videos or just videos of you staring at your phone camera, post about climate change. Climate change is going to affect us more than anything else. So that way if it did happen and they added books about about climate change in the educational curriculum, then children will actually be excited to learn about it, because their favorite "tiktoker" or "influencer" talked about that issue and this way they'll know that climate change is serious and they need to do something about it.

Well, thank you for responding to my post from your own point of view, but let me also respond to what I said, the beginning of the first point I will talk about is the amount of people who do not know how to read, of course who know how to read when they finish readingThis book, they will tell those around them about the content of this book, and it is not a condition that awareness be raised about this phenomenon only by reading books, but we can do that to each other to spread awareness on us, secondly about people who are not Those who are interested in this issue, there are very many ways to get them interested in this thing, such as adding touches, attitudes and events that attract them, and that it be one of the things they love, for example, to make a book that talks about a certain famous anime character and talk about this The book is about climate change, meaning that this character faced the climate change crisis in her country and told the story of her suffering with this crisis and that after she became aware of it, she decided to be a catalyst in countries and to search for a solution to this issue She started her attempts and eventually she could leave an open ending for the readers to get them to suggest solutions so this would be a book that made them aware and also enjoyed reading it.
Third, regarding posting on social networking sites, let me remind you that there are actually thousands of sites dedicated to the climate change crisis, but they did not make a big difference. We see a lot of different topics on Google, but it is possible This method will succeed if something is added to help the success of this thing, for example, to make one of the influential people by publishing this issue as the largest Korean group. BTS That is, if she published an article on climate change and asked her followers THE ARMY Create a hashtag to revolutionize this phenomenon so that they can make a difference

That is certainly a way to solve things. Very well said. I even think that after people read the book with famous anime characters and actually start thinking about climate change, they will also post about it on social media, or recommend the book to other people. And about BTS asking their army to create a hashtag, I think that would be probably the most effectively way to raise awareness about the climate change crises. And that way we can get both options together, books AND social media.

Yes, I also agree with you. Actually the present world is very busy. Everybody gets very less free time. For this reason, to most of the people reading books in leisure is a lesser preferable choice. So, I think, making people aware about climate change through books is a less effective way. We need to choose a media which is mostly and frequently used now a days and as well as less time consuming. And what I believe, planned and organized social media activism can attract people more and make them aware about this topic.

As you said that books are the solutions of all problems so obviously reading books will help us to learn about different perspectives on climate change. When a reader reads any kind of books then he basically becomes enlighten with many new things from different perspectives as his perspectives will make him bound to think over any perspectives. Well when a writer writes any book then he obviously tries to make people understand with his perspective and he who reads tries to understand from his perspective so its very obvious that reading helps us to learn about different perspectives on climate change.

On the one hand, reading is a sharp sword in raising awareness and combating ignorance. But on the other hand, many people find reading boring, especially for children and don't forget that climate change is a scientific topic, and reading about it may sound boring even to those who like reading. So why don't we raise awareness about climate change through social media and things that can speak to our new generation?

I agree with you, most people now a days are not interested in reading anymore and they find it boring especially young children, so if we want an effective way to raise children's awareness is by using social media as you mentioned, as to gain attention of someone or make them focus on it they need to love the thing they are doing, I don't think I found anyone in Egypt who really loves Earth and cares about the climate change, I am not saying that there aren't people who loves Earth in Egypt but I didn't find anyone interested, most people's interests are social media and video games, I was thinking why don't we create a game that talks about the climate change problem and let the children find solutions to it, that way we might gain their attention and ideas of how to solve this problem

Reading, this term, which not everyone likes, finds it very boring and does not satisfy their desires and does not entertain them to a large extent, but this is because they do not know the true meaning of reading because they have not actually tried it and did not feel the taste of reading And its enormous benefits. Of course, as my colleague said, reading is a sharp sword in the fight against ignorance, and I will show you how:Well, first, I will start by talking about people who are interested in reading and how they face ignorance of reading Reading expands the mind and increases thoughtfulness Improving creative focus It gives perspective on bigger things It provides a sense of sleep It increases critical thinking skills ، Ignorance is possible for a person to lose his job because of his ignorance in this field, but if he is educated, he will receive a respectable salary and may even get a promotion as well. Secondly, ignorance of safety issues may lead to fires or accidents, but if we have experience in these things, we will not face difficulties By reading, we can make right decisions and be able to distinguish between right and wrong. ، And the last thing, and the most important thing, is that ignorance may lead to poverty, but if we are educated, we will be a developed and educated society.

In my opinion, the truth, yes, plays a big role (for those who read it) in solving the problem of climate change, but from the point of view that climate change is a scientific problem, it will be boring for the reader and not attract him to read it or delve into it to solve it, so the writer can put events, situations and ideas that attract the reader. For the big group that don't read books (they don't know how to read or don't like it or..) they won't help solve this problem so I suggest that we publicize and raise awareness of this on social media through videos, photos and campaigns that attract everyone who watches it. What about how we can raise the number of book readers?

I will answer your question, how do we increase the number of book readers? Of course, the success and fame of any book is due to the skill of the writer. It is up to him, his creativity, and the way he attracts the reader and makes him feel that he sees the events and problems on his own. Reality is as if it is part of the book and deals with events and problems. If the writer was able to produce a book on climate change that carries all these qualities that not only make the book something boring and scientific, but also make it interesting, scientific and useful at the same time. And it is a gateway to open a way to think about solutions to problems in this book. Little by little, the number of readers will increase and therefore awareness about this issue will increase We can publish the cover of this book and a simple and interesting hint about it and we publish it on social networking sites so that many people will read it as well, many copies of this book and put them in all libraries and in school libraries as well For school students to read and it will definitely benefit them because this book can build the future of this student who read it

When reading multiple books on climate change, this will help increase our information and help us see the writers perspective on this subject. For example, some prefer to summarize the books they read. When summarizing the book, we can find the important things in the book, and therefore we will think from the right side. The books are useful, but We cannot say that the book is like the mind, but the mind is like the book. The book cannot carry more information than its pages, and the mind can think outside the limits of the box, and this will help in creating new ideas that might be the books of the future.

There is a massive part of the population of this world, who doesn't even know what is COP26. Reading books can bring a solution to a lot of our problems but it's human nature to believe what they witness with their own eyes. And the climate change issue has been placed in textbooks for quite a long time. But that hasn't quite been able to change the mindset of the youth. On the other hand, if these things are witnessed in real life then it will catch the minds of people more effectively than just reading books. So in my opinion, real life witnessing can give a better conception about problems and can also broaden the mind for better solutions than just reading books.

The transfer of knowledge and various sciences. The products of scientists of all ages have arrived through writing; Where man got acquainted with the ideas and innovations presented by his predecessors of scientists, we have received the writings of Greek scholars such as Socrates, Plato and others, as well as heritage and science books such as: The Book of Law on Medicine by Ibn Sina, and the Book of Optics by Ibn Al-Haytham, and many other books that were filled with Our libraries, and man has benefited from these sciences and added to them with the theories he learned and applied, and writing contributed to the transmission of the honorable hadith that was narrated from the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. Codification of the history of nations and peoples; Writing made a direct contribution to writing and transcribing the events that happened throughout history, and Muslim scholars have emerged in this type of writing. The History of Nations and Kings book came to al-Tabari, and the book of the Beginning and the End came to Ibn Kathir and many other history books. Writing is a form of renaissance and advancement in people’s lives, and the more useful writing and writing books are, the more this indicates the people’s culture and their deep-rooted civilization, and that writing is a form of expression of creativity; Where the creator was able to secrete his creative and cultural stock in a written form on paper. Writing is a way to organize and save information from being lost or forgotten. When you keep in your mind a specific information that you may forget because of your preoccupation with life matters, while if you write and write it down, you memorize it in a way that enables you to retrieve it when you want it. Writing is a means of preserving people's rights from being lost or denied; When you write a book to someone you lent money to, detailing the amount of money, the date of payment, and so on, you are thus preserving your right to a legal claim if the borrower denies your payment of money to him.

This book is by Dr. Ayed Al-Qarni. The book is an invitation to optimism, leaving sadness, and a request to raise the morale of man. The book contains a large collection of beautiful poems and positive stories. The book relied on simulating the reader in a smooth and effective manner, with rational messages and life advice
As the book is written with a great deal of eloquence and eloquence that gave the book a unique aesthetic
The number of copies sold of this book exceeded more than three or four million copies. The American Forbes magazine published a report on the book Do not be sad as the best-selling Arabic book in the world, and that the book Do not be sad for anyone is a sensation in the Arab Internet.

How much I became in love with the earth and plants after reading the book "The Secret Garden"
I became more appreciative of people with special needs after reading the book "Red Sky in the Morning"
How much did I realize how much a mother loves her child and sacrificed herself for him after reading the book "Science Fiction"
How much I cried and mourned for Malala's death in the book "Sorrow"
How much I learned and encouraged after David Copperfield's book, Columbus.
But after all this, these events remain simple parts of the book of my life, when you read a certain book and finish it and remember it after a while and remember your favorite part of it, you feel a beautiful feeling that fills us with optimism and strength.
I consider my life a book every day in which I write a new page with new events and new situations, but there remains a part that has a special taste and the special part of the book about my life is getting to know me and having the opportunity to enter the “global conversation”
When I started participating in the global conversation, it was just questions or a topic that needed solving, I didn't feel anything strange or new, but day after day I became deeper and deeper into the topic little by little. The issue of climate change is manipulating our entire planet, and I am saying that if this problem is not solved by adults, it will be by the students in this global conversation.
I never expected to reach this point, after I became fully aware of the issue of climate change, I became clearly aware of the great amount of ignorance among people in my country about this issue, even though I was just a few months ago like them, I do not know anything about this issue, is this Ignorance or stupidity?! Or is it because we are not looking to know what is happening in our world?!
When I entered the global conversation and read the stories and goals of the experts, this planted in me the motive to be like them to have my own story. Remember that I started my journey since I was young, but I go back and think about the basis of the problem, which is that when we search for people before us and how they played a great role in reducing From the issue of climate change and the contradiction between them and the fact that people recently did not complete the achievements before them and complete their research on them, you feel here that there is a missing part in this issue at this point.
Getting to know the global conversation was one of the best achievements of my life in my thirteenth year. It changed my thinking and the way I look at things. I'm trying to connect everything around me to the issue of climate change and how we can slow it down. And actually everything I looked at was strongly linked to the issue of climate change and everything stopped for me at a point. The lack of awareness of the people in general, but there is a strange episode here, which is the reason why ignorance pervades this issue, even though it is an issue that has begun to control our entire planet?!
First, when I wake up to start a new day and the cleaners come to take the rubbish to the landfill, I never think about the damage this landfill will do to pollute the soil and pollute the air, thus destroying the beauty of the environment and increasing carbon emissions. What if they threw this garbage into the ocean?! This will kill and harm marine creatures, and thus weaken our ability to benefit from sea creatures, and thus weaken and ruin the country's economy.
But what if we recycle this waste for further use and stop cutting down trees to make paper, and also what if we change the composition of solid waste that we cannot analyze?! This will really help the country
Secondly, on my way to my school, when I see empty areas of land that remain dry and do not find anyone to use them properly to protect the environment, I start thinking why the clients of agricultural engineers did not make a specific plan to exploit these areas in planting trees in order to increase the beauty of the environment and also to increase oxygen and reduce Carbon Dioxide ?!
Third, when I get to my school and we start taking lessons, I always try to connect everything to the issue of climate change, for example, in the lesson yesterday, Aldre was talking about Yosemite.
"Yosemite is an amazing place, it is mountains, valleys, lakes, rivers and the highest waterfalls in America, the wildlife is amazing too, most of all the huge trees, some are 90metres tall
When people started cutting down the trees and damaging this beautiful place , the United States decided to make Yosemite a national park back in 1890 , this has protect Yosemite since then , but people have become a problem again, for over a century, more and more Visitors have arrived each year , they love the park , but millions of cars and heavy feet badly damage it , too
so Yosemite still needs help , and thousands of young volunteers join together to give it every summer .
This was an English lesson we had, when I saw it I thought what if every country had their own local park like Yosemite but instead of volunteering here we could put climate change people into making the place a climate change helper for the country

Attack on Titan is a legendary anime that talks about the character of Eren as a 10-year-old child because of his life since he began to understand and hear about the "giants" who joined their country a long time ago, but they did not appear for 100 years and during these years the country lived in peace and calm, and one day Eren was He plays with his sister Mikasa and his friend Armin until the moment they lived in terror from 100 years ago came, which is the moment the giants appeared, the giants appeared again and stormed the country and screaming began to rise here and there. This massacre to another province Two years after the Titan attack on that gruesome day, Eren decided to join the "Exploration Corps", and this legion included the people who fight the giants when they invade countries, and indeed Eren joined him, along with Mikasa and Armin, and began their training from that time, and after a year of training the giants invaded the city once Indeed, the state also lost thousands of lives, but it was less than the first massacre, and conflicts began between the human race and between the giants, and the death of dear characters to the viewers occurred, but in the end the giants were not completely eliminated, but humans became able to confront them
Well, this is a brief explanation of what happened from the story of the anime Attack on Titan, but I was not able to explain to you the legendary and wonderful events that occurred in the details of this anime, but I wanted to tell you what happened to me after watching this anime, as I told you previously that I watched this anime twice, Once since the beginning of its release and once recently during my participation in the global conversation, the first time I watched it, I was in every episode enjoying, crying, rejoicing and excited about the events and characters, etc.
As for the second time, I had started my participation in the global conversation and became aware of a large part in my view of the issue of climate change. I was trying to link everything I saw to the issue of climate change. When I watched it for the second time, I began to link it with the issue of climate change. To tell you what I saw while watching it:
If we want to design a book about climate change and explain our struggle in it for hundreds of years and how it has caused human, social and economic loss, and how we can put a solution to the crisis, then in the end we will produce a book completely similar to the story of the Attack on Titan. the climate :

At first, I chose to put myself in the character of Eren, and this is because Eren, since his early years, was aware of the problem that threatens the human race with them, the giants, but the people around him did not take the matter seriously as he did by saying that the giants had not stormed them for 100 years, I chose to I am the character of Erin because it represents the reality in which I live. I am a 13-year-old girl since I was young. Thanks to my participation in the global conversation, I became fully aware of the issue of climate change, an issue that should not be our voices, but must be raised as soon as possible, and Irene is like me in that I see Clearly, the amount of ignorance around me among people, even though they are older than me, I do not understand how they are unable to see the most harmful problem on our planet, which is climate change?!

Secondly, I wanted to represent the “giants” with the issue of “climate change” because they are very similar to represent the hateful reality we live in. If we see that the giants have existed since ancient times, but they remained for about 100 years, no trace of them appeared, but suddenly they appeared, destroyed and were killed in the blink of an eye, and this represents an issue Climate change Since the issue of climate change has been living since the beginning of life because it increases with the increase in human activities, the issue of climate change now no one looks at it and does not give it the necessary importance that we now live in these 100 years in calm and peace, but will these years end and the day that destroys Is climate change our lives and storming us once heedless of us?!
We must not make this happen, we must make our decision and start work from now and that these 100 years are over and the hateful day has come when we will be able to confront and stand in the face of this heinous enemy

I want to resemble in this book the "Exploration Corps" in the "Climate Change Organization." I know that this organization I am talking about does not exist now, but we must organize and establish it as soon as possible! Let's go back a little to the Exploration Corps in the anime Attack on Titan. This corps was the basis and base of the state in fighting the giants, and they were the basis of hope for the survival of the human race, knowing that even in the anime Attack on Titan, there were different parties that were against the Exploration Corps, but they were in times of storming the giants they supported Legion and be one hand.
This is what must happen to us on the ground. We must create an organization equal to the Exploration Corps, but it must be a global organization. We must be a hand, a people, a voice and one word against the issue of climate change. You will never achieve anything! The solution must be collective with one word and various decisions and achievements to be able to save our planet to return to its previous era.

Fourthly, I want to compare the people in the attack on giants to the people in our reality. Parents should educate their children about these big issues and the vehicles and visits that take place in the world. What about me, what if I do not get the opportunity to enter this global conversation?! Would I have continued my life ignorant of this issue and remain like the rest of the people?!
Parents should educate their children about these matters so that their children can grow up with a goal in their heads, which is to get rid of this phenomenon, and this is by pushing them to join organizations related to the issue of climate change to make a collective difference.

After that, we did the work of the organization and we had a collective voice from all countries and all. People from different cities, at this time, if these hundred years are over and the day comes when climate change comes upon us, we will have built a shield that protects us from it and we will be able to fight it and get rid of it

In the end, I would like to thank you for reading, but I want you to answer this question before you go, why do we have such ignorance until this time with the development of technology?!

Reading opens up many areas for you to give your opinion on, no matter what book you are reading, For example, a week ago, I was reading a book from a student's memoir series, and I saw Greg Heffley's love for video games, so I started thinking about how I could use this as a win for us in the face of the climate, And indeed, I came up with several solutions, and this matter also opened up several other points for me, and I shared them in the global conversation and got different theories from others, that is, reading generates ideas for you and puts them forward as well
Also books related to climate, in my opinion, should not be limited to climate only, but about the environment in general, this is how we will be able to get perspectives on many environmental issues, and as we know many environmental issues are part of climate change , If you hear their point of view on these issues, you will eventually arrive at several points of view and then open up opportunities for them to read about climate change ,And through their comprehensive knowledge of many environmental issues, you will find that they have reached important points about climate change, and also do not forget that reading is other worlds, for example, my world is not limited to reality,This helped me very much in reaching new ideas about the climate. If you read my comments, you will find that there is a contradiction in them, because reading always opens up new horizons for me that makes me oppose old ideas,That is, reading will also help in accepting different points of view and responding to them respectfully, and this will also create new points of view

It is easy to get despair when it come to climate change. But i think we should not grief just yet..
According to me , climate change is a wicked problem. a complicated challenge with no clear enemy and no silver bullet solution. To tackle this problem and mobilize action. we do not think about it and let reading books about science , as well as emotional narratives will be effective.

Science has proven that reading makes the mind more effective, as a person's memory and sensation improve; The person also feels better and more positive, in addition to other benefits, such as: stimulating the work of nerves in the brain. Improving the ability to remember and retrieve information. Reduce feelings of depression. Reduce human stress.
Why don’t we take advantage of the benefits of reading about the climate issue by reading books about climate change, and we can also educate each other, and we can all know the climate issue and think about finding solutions to it. Read, for we are all ignorant, knowing nothing
