discussion about awareness

COP26 Featured Image 2

welcome
Since our project talks about the power of perspectives, I decided to debate with a female student in my school about climate change. We asked a question and each of us had a different opinion , and in order to understand our theories faster, I
summarized them in a paragraph

the question is :
In your opinion, who is the age group that we should focus on educating?

Student: In my opinion, the "adults", the adults have the ability to absorb these disasters more, given that they lived through natural disasters such as earthquakes, and other natural disasters, while children are still not aware of life and its disasters , I see that children will think illogically while we are facing climate change we must act quickly before climate change attacks us with its risks and consequences , also, if we are aware of the adults, the adults will educate the children and teach them about the mistakes they committed and caused a factor in the factors of climate change

Me: In my opinion, they are children.
They are in the early stages of their life, meaning that we have to develop their mental abilities and awareness, and because they are in the early stages of their life , it means, they are philosophers, still amazed when they see something about nature or learn something new about man and the planet , that is, their acceptance of the matter will be stronger than the adults, because they will continue to ask questions and when they see the answers of the adults, they will accept the matter and think about it seriously , also, they are in their early stages, that is, they did not adopt many principles in their lives, so if we speed up and build them on a good principle, which is respect for the environment and its rights over us , then we can establish a successful generation that is aware of the disasters that may happen after overcoming climate change, meaning that it will help us children with their minds to overcome climate change with their commitment and creative ideas, and also in the future if we face any disaster, as the generation will be trained to face this kind of disaster that pertains to the environment, and they are also more committed than adults, because they are kind-hearted, and they will feel guilty if they do things that are harmful to the environment such as throwing waste on the ground

And here the topic of our debate ended, write in the comments who you agree with and thank you for reading

Many parts of the world are subjected to severe weather conditions, which in some cases lead to the declaration of a state of extreme emergency.

These disturbances often result in the closure of airports and roads leading to those countries and cities due to bad weather conditions

It is the beginning of the effects of climate change on us, so we have to hurry to find a solution before the next comes with a severity that we cannot bear

Nature is one of the most important elements of beauty that God has bestowed upon humans When the sky rains with its rains and pure water it cleans the human heart and gives him the goal of hope and optimism for life The sunrise in the sky chirping and sound of birds in the morning and the fragrant breeze of the air represent a symphony that creation enjoys every day ln order to be able to control nature, man must first understand it, as it is basically an integral part of nature around him

Sandstorms occur largely in areas close to deserts. The countries of the Middle East, the Arabian Peninsula and North Africa are among the most vulnerable countries in the world.

The storm is an atmospheric and environmental phenomenon due to a large difference in atmospheric pressure between two different geographically different regions, resulting in a very rapid movement in the wind, which carries with it rain, snow and sand, accompanied by very severe thunderstorms in some regions of the world.

As far as I have seen and observed the climate by living in a tropical region, the South Asian countries especially the eastern side is affected with tremendous heat waves in summer and monsoon. Some may think that the monsoon is a nice weather, but NO! Due to the most recent climate variations the monsoon weather has become like this:
more humidity = more rain. Consequently, an increase in geological temperature, disasters and global warming.

Climate changes are affecting our lives in many ways. And somehow, we are the one destroying the rules of nature which results in the changes of our environment and climate. Before it becomes too late, we should focus on educating ourselves. We should educate the children first. Because these children are the future generation. They will turn into the "adults" in future. If we start educating children in a early age, they will adapt it quickly and when they will become adults they can help others as well in raising public awareness. Educating the adults might be difficult because they are already into so many things. So, educating the children first is a better option.

Awareness about climate change is the topmost priority in the present world. In terms of educational awareness, I think that the children should be the ones to be educated about climate change, as they are still in their learning period. However, that doesn't mean that we should leave the adults. The awareness in adults determines the prospect of whether the children will make a difference when they grow up, as adults will lay the groundwork for children to walk on. So, subsequently holding meetings, seminars, and advertising the bad effects about climate change in a large range can help in the overall improvement of people's knowledge, perspective and decisions about climate change.

It is true, but in the beginning we have to educate children because they will determine our future, and adults will determine our present, but if we teach the young, they will teach the adults and force them to do the principles they follow

The question- which age group should focus on educating?
From the very ancient thought that- our children will learn what their elders will teach them. But there is actually no age group that don't educate any one. Be it children, adults or elderly people somehow among them some educate all of us with their thoughts and all. A child even educate us with his creativity, new thoughts and so on which maybe different from any experienced one's thought. Again an adult who is acknowledged with more experience than a child can also bring a new idea from his creativity and experience that can make all bound to think and thus educate all. An elderly obviously educate all a lot as they are more and more experienced among all. Their valuable talks always encourage us to do such works which will bring a new era of thinking and doing anything more creatively for the people and for the whole world.

Obviously the young people need to come up with solutions as they have fresh brain and they have ampule of time to think about it .
