Would you want to be a banker?

You might want to become a banker because you would be helping the public make important decisions for example:buying a house;starting a busines;even starting a family!Bankers that work in small banks work 40-50 hours a week but if you work in a larger bank they work the minimum of 70 hours a week.I wouldn't want to become a banker because money/finance is'not something I would want to do as a career.

Thanks for starting off this new thread of conversation! I wonder if you could include some reasons why you wouldn't want to be a banker? It would be interesting for other people to be able to respond to your reasons with their own!

Thank you for your opinion.
Personally,I would not want to be a banker. It is very difficult to make the right decision,I also think it very hard to sit in a office every day.
but I still admire these people because what they are doing is very important for all people in the world!
Because without bankers ,the whole system would collapse and a big crisis would develop.
We all need money to live and these people organize the financial basis of our lives!
I wonder why every country has another currency? Can someone answer me that?

I would not want to be a banker because I would be under so much pressure. I would always think I would be doing something wrong. I would be absolutely terrified if I made a mistake and my boss would get mad at me!
Well done for thinking about a different perspective. Bankers are often given a lot of criticism. How might someone be affected by constant criticism?
