Hong Kong needs our help

I feel very sorry for Hong Kong, for they have to go through something that we don't , this protest has caused many injuries . A lady got shot near the eye whilst protesting , many hospitalized and injured . Britain can do something but instead they're not . Hong Kong needs our help so let's give it our all.

DO SOMETHING BRITAIN!!!!!

Although their situation is very unfortunate, I believe that Britain should stay out of it. This is because Hong Kong is now a free country. It was us who was in charge of it a long time ago and they weren't a democracy at the time but they are now. So I feel as if they wouldn't want our help. Furthermore, we can't really be of much help. If we started protesting like they are, yes it would attract the attention of the government. However, we already have large problems to face such as Brexit, which luckily hasn't gone to the same extent as the Crisis. Our government can't really be in charge of other governments so we can't just tell other ones what to do as it wouldn't be fair. Global affairs such as climate change call for other countries to help each other, but since this is just one country I feel it wouldn't be right to interfere. Now, companies that help other countries during war, for example, can be a big help.
But one whole country focussing their attention on another, instead of their own can lead to bad things like people getting angry. I would like to see your reply active_sheep : )
you are right but Britain basically caused this mess by creating the the 'one country two systems' rule.
Hi active_sheep, what evidence do you have that Britain created the one country two systems rule? Could you do a bit of research to see if that is true?
the enormous protests in Hong Kong since this spring have led to fresh fears about the viability of China’s “one country, two systems.” On June 10, the U.S. State Department expressed concern that “the continued erosion of the ‘One Country, Two Systems’ framework puts at risk Hong Kong’s long-established special status in international affairs.” Created in the early 1980s by Deng Xiaoping, China’s “one country, two systems” policy aims to peacefully integrate (or reintegrate, from Beijing’s unique perspective) formerly colonized territories by granting them semiautonomous status in exchange for recognizing the existence of “One China.” It’s an idea that Macau and Hong Kong officially subscribe to and Taiwan fiercely resists—but one increasingly questioned from all sides.

and as consistent skill said it could cause war and at some point Britain will have to take sides.

We should do something about it or a lot of people could get hurt in Hong Kong whilst protesting. I think they are right to protest because China have the potential to abuse the freedoms of the people of Hong Kong. This could start a war in Asia!!!

thank you both for commenting , your opinions are very important to me
active_sheep, I remember on a competition you put a name as Jungkook, but that is not a Chinese name and people might be offended. This was in the Hong Kong issue. It is okay because you didn't know but I was confused because I have heard the name Jungkook too.
I know it is not a Chinese name I just like the name it wasn't chosen by country it was just random choice. Please take note that this was not racism. I did know it was a Korean name.
