We have been learning about the Hong Kong crisis. 150 years ago we ruled Hong Kong but then in 1997 China took back over but with an agreement in place that the way of life and economy would stay the same until 2047. Britain and China both signed this agreement but China did not follow this. China began electing the politions for Hong Kong and the people felt like they had less freedom.
In 2015, five Hong Kond booksellers went missing as they published books that were critical of Chinese leaders. Then they ended up in jails in China. With this in mind and the fact that they have the biggest army in the world, i don't think we should get involved with this problem. It is not our problem and we have enough going on here with Brexit without taking on the problems of Hong Kong, although i do feel that it is unfair.
