To Faisal Rashid,

I am concerned about the Hong Kong crisis.

China has broken an agreement for Hong Kong

and now the people of Hong Kong are coming

on to the streets to fight for freedom and human

rights.

In China you could end up in jail if you criticise

The government or campaigning for human rights.

Hong Kong was ruled by the Britain as a colony for 150 years and the both have shared history.

There’s 180,000 people who were born in China and now live in Britain and there’s 119,990 who were born in Hong Kong and now live in Britain, so we have a responsibility to the other people

Living in Hong Kong.

Most people in Hong Kong like being in Hong Kong rather than China and 71% say that they don’t like being Chinese citizen.
