should Britain intervene in the Hong Kong crisis?

Dear Mr Cleverly

I am a student at Lyons Hall school and I am writing to you because I want to reach out regarding the Hong Kong crisis.

I don’t think we should help because we would lose our biggest trading ally and we could start a fight between us and China. I hope Hong Kong can survive, but if Britain helps there could be more casualties and I hope Hong Kong can understand.

However, it’s sad how china broke their promise and should be punished for their actions.

I want my MP to stand up for Britain.
