What is happening in Hong Kong

Before I start, there is one fact I should say. The protest began on the 9th of June when millions of people marched against a bill that could allow suspects to be extradited to China.
I will like to say that China took over Hong Kong and tortured it. The crown colony of Hong Kong officially reverted to chinese sovereignty, ending 156 years of British rule. Great Britain had acquired Hong Kong island from China in 1842. On July 1st, 1997, Hong Kong was peaceably handed over to China in a ceremony attended by numerous Chinese and British dignitaries.
Thanks for listening

Hi reserved_cherry! I can see that you have written lots of short posts on this topic. I have only approved this one, for a couple of reasons.
1. Posts should be longer, more developed pieces of writing. For shorter ideas, stick to adding them in the comments section! There you'll be able to join the discussion and get replies from other BNC members.
2. Posts should always contain new information that hasn''t been written about in somebody else's post. Make sure you read other ones on the Hub and then only write a post if it's about something totally new to do with the topic.
I hope those tips are helpful!
OK. I made another one that makes more sense.
thanks for the tips
I will use those tips in my new post!!!
