I believe that some perspectives are important but some can be more reliable and important than others, therefore i disagree that that they are both of equal value.
One reason i believe this, due to the fact that some points of view are bias because of what the person saying them has through and where they have got their news from. For example in Myanmar, a lay called Aye Myat Mon formed her opinions and facts through an anti- Rohingya platform ( Facebook) and now she has been spreading inaccurate pieces of news all over the internet.
This shows that every perspective is not important because of her incorrect view of the Rohingya people and she has become anti- Rohingya because she is Buddhist, and she has found her news on a anti- Rohingya platform. People need to read the piece of information with an open mind but remember not to just believe what you see on the internet.
A second reason i believe this is that some people’s opinions are relevant but because their popularity on the internet that could influence some people’s opinions. For example in Myanmar the state counsellor, Aung San Suu Kyi has said it was terrorists so people are going to believe her right? But she never really talked about it in the past until now.
This shows that every perspective is not important because of her not saying anything for a while but now coming out and saying something that might not be true or reliable.
