Journlists tricked into arrest

Two journalists were tricked into being arrested in Myanmar. Amil Clooney is their lawyer and she is standing up for their rights. The police asked the two men to meet them in a cafe and gave them some confidential papers to read. As they stood up to leave, they were arrested by two other policemen who were waiting. The papers were against the government. They were tricked and now face 7 to 14 years of prison. This could all be changed if the leader Aung Sang Suu Kyi stepped in. One of them has just become a father and he is unable to see his new child. If journalists are not free to report then what has the world come to!

Well done, sensitive economics! I've awarded you a star for your curiosity - well done for finding out about this story. It's also exactly the type of post we want to see on the Hub as it's about a new idea related to the topic. So Burnet News Club, what do you think about this. Should the journalists be released, and should they have been jailed in the first place? Write your ideas in the comments below.
