What is Myanmar going through?

If you are part of the Burnet News Club, you will know about the current issue, Myanmar. Myanmar is a country that has had a lot of problems recently, mainly about the Rohingya people. There are people- mostly Muslims- who have left their country because of other people. These people set fire to their village and then forced the people to flee to Bangladesh. After a long journey, the finally arrived there where they forced to stay there. This refugee camp does have food, but it is over-crowded and there are around 700,000 people from Myanmar who need to stay there.
Aung Sang Suu Kyi is the councillor of Myanmar who was held in prison for years because she said her opinion. People are hoping that she will do something about this crisis, but I have heard that some think she will not interfere. I am going to keep an open-mind because I don’t have a side yet and I am sure some will agree with me. Aung Sung Suu Kyi may be busy with other problems right now but can she find the time to save her own people?
Over half of the people that left Myanmar are children. They are to young to be going through these experiences in my opinion. What do you think?

Dear unconventional_brain,
I completely agree with you.
If children continue to live like this at a young age, it will affect (or effect?) them as they grow, if they somehow manage to survive through all this.
It is not right knowing that every step you take, you might get killed.
Its true because when the do grow up the childhood memories will stay with them, do you think that Aung Sung Suu Kyi will do something?

I agree that children are to young to experience this awful catastrophe. So I think that people should do something for charity so the poor people in the Bangladesh refugee camp would receive money to have the same abilities like most people do
That's right. Do you know a charity that we could donate to?
