How can technology help refugees? I have an idea:
We could use video conferencing technology to provide free lessons in the areas of language and personal skills for children affected by armed conflict, and it also provide information about the world to young people in refugee camps.
It could have volunteer teachers, including university students and retired teachers and other local volunteers, with the aim of providing education to refugee students, and in this platform is a database to connect teachers and students based on their needs, skills and geographical proximity.
Technological progress has made health care easier than ever before, by using technology to keep and archive health records for sick refugees, as most of them did not have health records, but over a year and a half a new health project was able to create electronic records for more than 10 thousands of Syrian refugees in Lebanon, including data on the refugees' health and medical history, which could later help them obtain quality medical services.
My question *is there any areas in which technology is used to help refugees?*
