Why Mars?

Everyone on Earth is saying, who is going to Mars?Well your question is probably why Mars?
These are the possible reasons why:
- Mercury is too far
- Venus is dry
- Jupiter is a gas giant
- Saturn is classfied as a gas giant
- Uranus is an icy gas giant as Neptune
No one has been to Mars before and it is right next to us (13 meters away) and scientists discovered that there is life on Mars.Mars is also made of core which means we can go there. On Mars there is one of the most largest montains in the world so the astronauts might want to discover that. If not Mars astronauts can go to one of the Moons of Mars(Phobos and Deimos) if possible.

Is Mars 13 metres away?
Did he mean 1300000....000 metres away!
Best to go with 'they' as we don't know who people are!

I like your post as it gives reasons for why we should go to Mars, but I have some reasons to argue.
How do you know that there is life on Mars? In your last paragraph, you state that scientists have already found life on Mars, please can you inform where you have received this information so I can read it, it will back your opinion too.
In your last paragraph, you also mention that Mars is 13 metres away. I do not think this is true, as scientists say that Mars is over 100 million miles away, 140 million to be exact.
I have also found that people have sent out missions to Mars, these include Mars 2 and Mars 3. Information found on https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exploration_of_Mars .

Scientists have studied this subject for a matter of years and they have certified many of the facts presented.

because if we travel to mars it will only take us about 15 years and that is less time than it would take us to travel to the other planets

Just becouse neptune and Uranus is very cold doesn't mean we cant send machines to those planets like NASA sent a machine to Mars

I have some reasons why no man has still landed on Mars.
. lack of technology to get people there and back.
.most expensive and difficult engineering challenges of the 21st century.
.not enough fuel to people to go there and back.
. solar radiation would accumulate in an astronaut's body, raising his or her risk of cancer.
.EXTREMELY dangerous for health.
NASA is trying to aim to send a man/woman to Mars before 2030. But is this possible? I am very sceptical about this because technology has to advance way more to reach Mars. Besides, 2030 is so far away that why do we even need to care about that now? Everyone hs to worry about something way more important like climate change. What are we going to do about that? what do you think?

I also found these reasons from the web: https://earthsky.org/space/human-health-dangers-mars-travel.

I believe that on mars scientists have found water so if we live there we have resources to live on.

Besause there used to be life on Mars and that planet is like a desert. Finally, it is because it doesn't take as long to get there
09 Dec 2019
Who said we had to go to a planet already existing? Can't we just create a load of large planets that have got our live recources
09 Dec 2019
Why not a dorofe planet
09 Dec 2019
I think we should go to Mars because we will find a lot more information and we could get resources.
09 Dec 2019
i've heard that mars is only 13 miles away. Is that true
09 Dec 2019
I think it depends, because right now China and India are racing to get to Mars they are sending recruits up there but they keep on failing. That is making each population smaller by the time when they reach the moon
