Is Trump's wall good or not?

My personal opinion is that Trump's wall was a bad idea but I do understand why some Americans may believe it would be a good idea. Why I believe that it is bad is because the wall would stop good people from travelling from America to Mexico. Already it is not the easiest to travel to America if you do not live there because you will be required to have a VISA; building the wall would make it even harder for tourist to travel in to America.

Why it could be a good idea is because Mexico has some not very kind people in it. Also people would try and smuggle drugs and other illegal products: the wall would severley cut down on the amount of illegal products being transported into America. Americans would like there being less drugs to in their country and less dangerous people,wouldn't most people?
