I can't agree with people who associate Trump's Wall to the Great Wall of China beacuse the first one was built for an economic purpose while the second one was built for a political purpose.
Even though they were both built to protect a territory, we must consider that China's wall was built beacuse this contry was attacked by many populations who wanted to invade and submit it. Trump's wall, instead, is wanted to stop many people who are looking for a job and better conditions of life.
It's also very important to considerate that the Great Wall of China was built more than 2000 years ago, when it was almost impossible to communicate and find an agreement with populations who spoke different languages and had different traditions so the wall was probably the only way to defend the country from invasions.
Today we've got many and fast ways to communicate: Do we necessarily have to go back to 2000 years ago?
