Walls, are they necessary?

Walls have been around for thousands of years but now are we misusing them. Walls are now being made lock people in and keep people out but is that right; people don't own countries so there is no reason to keep certain people out and people inside countries as no one owns land people such as presidents are running a country to make it become the best it can be which doesn't mean that they should put up border walls to lock people in or out. Before people thought of "owning land"the world was probably better as you can roam anywhere you like but if it was like this now the would not be wars and if there are problems everyone would help each other. But now it's too late as some countries already have very poor economics so if we were to remove walls now there would be a lot of mass migrations which people are not wanting to happen. The Berlin wall was a guarded concrete barrier that physically and mentally divided West Germany from the east of Germany through Berlin from 1961 to 1989. It was built to prevent more people exiting East Germany and entering West Germany as West Germany had far more better economics and life style that's why many people wanted to enter West Germany. It had divided Germany for 27 years after World War II the Berlin Wall was built on August 16, 1961, along the division of the eastern sector of Berlin controlled by the Soviet Union, and the western sectors occupied by the United States, France, and Great Britain. The had been broken down by the people of Germany but its some of its remains have been left there to mark what has happened in the past years. One of the most recent building of a wall is the Mexico-America border wall is an international border separating Mexico and the United States, extending from the Pacific Ocean in the west to the Gulf of Mexico in the east. The border traverses a variety of terrains, ranging from urban areas to deserts. It stretches in over 3,145 km of land. This border wall is being made to stop the importation of drugs into the US which is potentially protecting the US citizens. Many walls are used to physically and mentally divide people and countries. The Israeli West Bank barrier or wall is a separation barrier in the West Bank.
