Are criminals born or made?
FOR;BOTH
A criminal can be defined as a person who has committed a crime. It does not matter whether they have commited a crime once or numerous times. Offences that may make one qualify to be called a criminal may include, robbery with violence, murderer and so on. One may wonder why is it that some people have the habit of continully commiting such crimes while others don`t. Is it a matter of inheriting some genes from the family or is it one`s desire to do so. These questions and many more are some reasons that have brought about a fiery argument from the subject of criminology in the investigation to find the source of criminal behaviour in our socirty today and also ways of dealing with such kind behaviour in our society. This essay will bring factors that may lead to anwsering to some of these questions looking at both approaches whether one is born a criminal because of some other factors like enviorement.

Generally, none is a good or bad person by birth. At the very beginning of the life, everyone is equal, everyone is as sacred as an angel. After birth, how she/he will be in the future is decided by his surroundings, environments, society, guidelines to him/her etc. In most of the cases, it is seen that a child with proper care, guideline, education, morality becomes a person with wonderful personality who always works for the welfare of the world, becomes a genuine person. But in some cases, we can see that in spite of proper care and guideline, some children grow up as a criminal. Most probably this occurs due to genetic reasons. But it is very rare case. In general, if a person will be criminal or not is not decided by birth. So, it can be said that in 97-99% cases, criminals are made, not born.
