When you carry a knife and you were caught then you would be sent to prison for 5 years!

Did you know that when you get caught with a knife even if you were carrying it for your friend or for your protection , you would be arrested and prosecuted? Police can search for anyone with a knife. Over 50,000 people in Scotland were searched and stopped each month between April and November 2013. In 2017, there were just under 39,600 recorded offences involving the use of a knife or sharp instrument in England and Wales. That's the highest level recorded over a year since comparable figures began in 2011! About half of knife offences in 2015/16 were a form of assault, and about 40% were robberies. Did you know that sharp instruments account for between 30% and 40% of all homicides, making them the most common single method for killing.

What would you do if kknife crime didnt exist?
And how do you know this is true?
If knife crime didn't exist then nobody would get hurt with a knife but there still would be dangerous instruments that they could still use to hurt somebody.
that is very true because there are still tools and weapons that people could use to hurt other people

How did you know that if you were caught carrying a knife you could be sent to prion for 5 years.And you have really concentrated and made an impressive post.But i would really like some more information about maybe why people might carry a knife

They might carry a knife because maybe they wanted to be protected or they wanted revenge on somebody

Knife crime is real beacause people still hurt people and they do not carry knifes but that is a legal to carry knifes about with you unless it is wrapped and bought in a shop
True but if they would seem like a innocent person and they brought knives in wrapping and they took it out to kill somebody then they would go to prison
