Does Sociael Media link with violent crimes

Britain’s most senior police officer has blamed social media for the soaring rate of knife crime in the UK, particularly among children.

A very shocking killing event took place in london which brought up some truth for reasons behind this violent crime keep occuring.13 londoners were killed and a police commissioner recalled his opinions which does include facts in it,''trivial disputes could escalate into violence within minutes when rivals set out to goad each other on the internet.'' “There’s definitely something about the impact of social media in terms of people being able to go from slightly angry with each other to ‘fight’ very quickly,” she said. She compared the speed at which young people with no previous or very limited criminal record can become killers to the way some Islamic extremists become radicalised in a matter of days. These words are credible because Cressida Dick is a senior officer who experienced many similiar cases. Cressida has also talked about how she dealed with drugs; she said that it is absolutely as much about socioeconomic factors as anything else.

All that were facts from proper record and some opinions but now I would like to express my opinions. Well there is a chance of sociel media linking with crimes because:

.It won't be a surprise if online threatening happens as it can be a regular thing.

.Then gangs don't only happen live, it can definitely be a thing in sociel medias. So, this could be to stay cool, or there friend forced or triggering. So, in group chats, if something unexpected happens which leaves some one out or isolated it could trigger them highly.

. Thinking on the other side, Social medias like snapchat or instagram does have a whole safety instructions and privacy policy. This tells one thing for sure, this is not social media itselves fault, its how we use it.

My request is to folloe the privacy policy and remember to login in the correct age. And join safe group chats.

Thanks for your post, I have two questions about what you have written.
    1. What do you think Cressida Dick meant when she compared young people who get involved with knife crime to Islamic extremists who become quickly radicalised?
    2. What advice would you give people if they see something concerning or triggering on social media or a group chat?
