Stop and Search

Stop and search,

stop and save,

stop and save the world from harm.

We stop then then check: looking up to down

we pick you for reasons; you kind-of look suspicious or is it just your colour that screams at us?

Judge you by your race: i don't know why.

We are all the same so why do we have to fight?

Colours need search, all race can injure,

do not let the darkness linger.

    Hi generous_recipe,

Thanks for your poem. We like that you focused it on stop and search. Your poem suggests that your race can mean you are more likely to be stopped and searched and that this might be to do with prejudice. Can you explain this further and how this could make some people feel?

Thank you very much. This could make someone feel disowned by there own community because they are like an outcast.
