Festival 2026 live lesson

How is technology changing sport? Which tech improves the game and which changes the experience?

Join hundreds of students from around the world online for an exciting live lesson exploring how technology is transforming sport.

This special event will launch the 2026 Topical Talk Festival and introduce the topic for the first week. In the run-up to the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, students will question how innovation is reshaping performance, entertainment and the spirit of competition.

During the one-hour session, students will:

• Take part in lively, interactive activities on technology and sport
• Hear from an inspiring guest speaker
• Join global polls and live discussions with schools around the world

The live lesson will be repeated twice online at 10am and 2pm (UTC) to welcome schools across different time zones.
