A New Dawn

In India, we have always been taught that all men and women are our brothers and sisters. Whereas in reality, it's been perfectly clear that people are not accepted in the society. Especially black people are not treated with respect, they endure harsh opinions, stereotypical looks from people, and are made to feel inferior. This is seen everywhere even in the film industry. Black people are made to be seen as antoganists. They are depicted as an evil in the society. Women and people of color still remain woefully underrepresented in Hollywood.
But with the release of the film Black Panther, things have taken quite a turn. It is an historic film, that has set a mileston as the one of the most diverse films ever released. Black Panther has shown us that indeed 'Black Lives Matter'. It has shown the color is not a barrier, but a stereotypical mindset is.
In the end I would like to say, that we should be honest in our efforts and work on changing the social attitude towards eradicating racial discrimination from the roots. Black Panther is just a stepping stone, their will be thousands of such successful attempts. This is just the beginning! It's a New Dawn!
