Fast fashion is one of the most important crisis in today's world. Fast fashion affects the enviroment and people by chemicals that pollutes rivers, and streams, 85% of textiles go into dumps each year, and I forgot to mention it dries up water.
People from Bangladesh were employed for low money for long hours. According to research it said," Many are forced to work 14-16 hours a day, seven days a week, with some workers finishing at 3AM only to start again the same morning at 7:30 AM."
The fast fashion industry is disturbing. Nobody deserve these type of "jobs," at this point its abuse. In the article, it stated," Since 1990, more than 400 workers have died and several thousand more have been wounded in 50 major factory fires." We need to stop this major problem, for our own good.
