Should boys and girls have the same opportunities?

The girls in Iran should be given the same amount of money that boys get, they should make it the same. I'm not saying that girls should have more money than boys as it’s not fair they should have the same amount. Why do boys get more money than girls? Parents should make it equal. If you were a woman, do you think your daughter should be paid less than your son? You probably wouldn’t want that for yourself; you probably like the same amount that your brother is getting, so why aren’t girls in the UK being given the same amount of money?
Young girls are paid 20 percent less than the boys and I think it is really unfair. We often think about other countries treating girls and boys unequally, but this is a problem in the UK. If girls grow up thinking they are worth less than boys, the pay gap that women experience will continue. The problem of gender inequality isn’t just in Iran and Afghanistan but it is here in the UK too.
We all have a responsibility to speak out, to ensure that girls across the world are treated equally. If this doesn’t happen, we need to protest. Where have you seen gender inequality? Did you speak out?
