Stereotypes and how they affect women.

Written standpoint on women in space

Gender inequality is one of the world changing problems that many people face every single day. Through my perspective stereotypes are the most problematic out of all the given options. I think that stereotypes would lead to every other problem. Stereotypes are ideas that can shape a person. Not everyone can get a stereotype out of their heads. Not even me!

Male led development is caused by men thinking that women are not smart enough or that they do not have what it takes to be a leader in business. This is also the stereotype for male dominated industries. How are women supposed to be heard if they are being heard by men only, if being heard at all? The motherhood-penalty is caused by the stereotype of men believing that mothers are seen as less hard working when they have their children. It’s almost like they don’t even care about the mothers’ children! Too many mothers that are are single, underaged, or are suffering a condition have to go through this miserable punishment.

This is why I believed that stereotypes are the most difficult problem to fix, not just out of the given options, but the biggest problem to fix in general.
