Standpoint: Does giving international aid sometimes cause more harm than good?
I think that giving international aid could be bad because as for my country (bangladesh) farmers would be growing as many crops as they can as there has been many floods and farmland keeps on getting destroyed. If international aid helps then farmers wont be able to sell as much crops as international aids might bring some food; rice, clean water, meat, etc. If international aid gives money then countries like mine might misuse it for something else. It will also be unfair for other countries and some other parts of Bangladesh as they still wont be able to get any aid, so they should try to keep it fair and help other countries that are also in need.
Also, sometimes the international aid doesn’t reach the people that are in need the most; sometimes it can be lost, given to the wrong people or lost out on sea.
In my opinion, I think the international aid should still keep going as it can still help the countries in need. As long as the countries still don’t spend their money on the wrong things then it should be fin.
