If all ages are influenced by misinformation, should there be any age limits on voting?

VOTING AGE

Should the voting age be lowered to 16?

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I am here to discuss the voting age within England and the idea of lowering the voting age to 16 or remain as 18 in the following paragraphs.

I believe that 18 is the legal age to vote because you are considered an adult so that should be the official age to vote. Also 16 year olds may be tricked by social media on phones, tablets, tv and other things.

16 year olds also don’t have enough experience with the earth so they will believe other random people who could be scammers. They might do for a joke [for example they might vote for a bad president or someone by there looks or something or they just might not understand how important it is]

There is like a 70% chance 16 year olds put a random vote.im not trying to be mean but I think 18 year olds are more likely to be smarter than 16 year olds because they already passed school and go university or go to a math club or something so we can agree that 18 year olds are smarter right?

16 year olds also like don’t take things as seriously than 18 year olds do and they think the voting thing is just a joke and not important and if you’re an adult you would know that it’s a very important thing for example lets say we have to vote for hospitals to be free or you have to pay to go hospital 16 year olds would probably just pick a random one or pick hospitals to cost money, because they thing earning money is easy and if your older than 18 you will know that they are wrong. This is very unlikely but 16 year olds could be forced to vote a specific way

Again im not trying to be mean but I think that 18 year olds are more mature, smart, responsible and athletic

Thank you for listening to my speech and I hope you agree that 16 year olds cant vote have an amazing day.
