If all ages are influenced by misinformation, should there be any age limits on voting?

Lowering the voting age - Standpoint image 2

Hello everyone! Rhetorical Lute here, and today, I will be discussing if that because if age limits are influenced by fake information, should there be an age limit at all on voting? This is my argument. Enjoy!

If you see any of the letters in bold, check the end for the meaning.

I think there should because some people are too young to vote. I think people should stop making misinformation because it is tricking communities all around the world. I personally think the age limit should be 18 because 16s might just be too young, and I know that you really want to vote but it's against the law.

An example of my argument (or discussion) is that 16s just won't know as much as adults because they are slightly younger. The reason isn't because they are slightly younger, it is because they are younger, they might still be at a school (or university. Basically a school, right?). That means they have learnt about taxes (maybe), but they are still not 18 which is the legal voting age.

I think that 16s shouldn't be able to vote because 18 is legally the age limit for voting, so I think yes, there should be an age limit on voting. Another example is that 16 is too young and lots of people want it to be 16, but it's against the law. Who knows? maybe one day it will be 16 and not 18.

Thank you for reading and I wish you the best of luck on your day today! Bye, and see you soon! (Maybe...)
