If all ages are influenced by misinformation, should there be any age limits on voting?

Do you think there should be any limits on voting due to being influenced by misinformation? People say there should because young people or any people hear misleading information on social media. However other people may say there should not because a lot of people are aware of things since they are on social media, or read newspaper, or watch the news. In my opinion there should be an age limit on voting because people are hearing false information, young people are not responsible enough to vote, and kids don't fully get the full meaning of voting.

A lot of people have been on social media and social media is not always true. It's not just social media but newspaper and news. If poeple are hearing false information when they vote they can end up regretting on who they voted for. For example, lets just say social media said that one of the people running for president is going to give $1,000 to the people that vote for him and then you vote for him and turns out he was a bad president and never gave you and the other poeple money. Young kids see false information and belive that information which can effect voting so thats why we need a age limit on voting. I also feel like 18 and older and old enough to realize what true and whats not true.

The next reason, is that young people are not responsibel enough to vote. Kids these days don't even do there homework or school work so why should they have the right to vote at that age. At 18 you know some really important things but 17 and younger still have many inmportant things they have to learn. 18 years old have a lot of responsibiltes unlike 17 and younger. Kids don't do things there told to do so I think they shouldn't have the right to vote and just wait until there 18.

My last reason, is kids don't fully get the meaning of voting. How could you go do something or participate in something and don't understand what the thing you'r doing means. 18 years old have finished high school so they learned everything they needed to learn about the topic voting. Unlike 17 and younger who have not so they really understand the whole point of voting. Some kids wouldn't even like to vote or care about voting so I think there should be an age limit in voting.

In conclusion, there should be an age limit on voting due to being influenced by misinformation because people are hearing wrong inforamtion online, kids are not responsible enough to vote, and kids dont get the full meaning of voting. 17 and younger sometimes be beling things on social media which can effect voting. Kids don't make smart desecions these days so they shouldn't be allowed to vote. 18 and older do really understand the point of voting so they should be allowed to vote.
