Would giving 16-year-olds the vote improve democracy or just change the way campaigns are run?

Dear boys and girls
I’m writing because of the voting age in England I want the voting age to be 16 and here’s why.
My opinion is the voting age should be lowered because younger people (16-year olds) should have the right to vote. Some will say 16-year old’s are not smart. There wrong because now 18 year old’s have remembered none of school or a 16 year old that knows all about school.
My opinion is more people would like to vote. And show their opinion with voting. Some will say people can make them to vote for someone. They are wrong because they are smart although to not get tricked.
I have been writing for a long time and I want to say thank you for reading.
