Would giving 16-year-olds the vote improve democracy or just change the way campaigns are run?

In my opinion, it will just change the way campaigns are run. For me, 16 year olds shouldn't be allowed to vote yet. Because adults or elders has experienced the world with different political views, leaders, etc, while 16 year olds haven't. Most 16 year olds doesn't watch the news consistently yet aswell. Adults or elders knows what the country was like being led by different leaders which will be a consideration when voting. 16 year olds might also vote just based of the internet. Which won't be a wise decision and could end up bad for the country.
