Do international alliances make the world safer, or can they sometimes lead to more tension?

Have you ever wanted to feel safer in the area you live in by making friends and gaining trust? That is kind of like an alliance. Well, I think that international alliances do make the world safer because if one country in the alliance gets attacked, then other countries in the alliance could send aid to the country in need. This could make the country under attack have fewer casualties, which makes it safer for the neighboring countries.

International alliances can cause fewer casualties, so more people can have a chance to evacuate and stay safe. With more allies, they can quickly neutralize attacks, so there are not many casualties. So there is more safety around the world in places like Ukraine, Gaza, Israel, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, which are allies of America, which has many international allies. Also the NATO organization (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) which is supposed to prevent conflict among major powers and keep stability. Which contributes to world peace. NATO also acts as a deterrent to wars. Also, international alliances cause less casualties by deterring attacks.

In conclusion, yes, international alliances do make the world safer by helping countries in need and under attack.
