Is it safer for a country to have many different allies or to rely on one very powerful relationship?

What is the future of international alliances and what will happen when they disagree?
From the question at the start I think it is better to have many different allies because it gives you better chances to stop wars and create better futures. Today many alliances have been formed over many years building trust on each other helping stop wars that might come before they even start, discussing politics and affairs together. One of the greatest alliances is NATO, lasting for over 75 years since 1949. When you are having difficulties or in need of resources, I think if you have only a big relationship then they might disagree on what you think and leave the alliance, on the other hand if you have a disagreement then if they leave you still have many other alliances.
For example, serious tensions rose in NATO (the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation). Its biggest alliance, the United States, brought up trouble. After Donald Trump sought to take over Greenland and raise tariffs on his fellow European allies, they were shaking as their best relationship was on the verge of leaving NATO their trust in the USA were spiralling out of control.
Also, it shows how important it’s to have an alliance as the USA and Vietnam have sown a relationship collaborating and discussing political matters together. Also Finland and Sweden both joined and allied with NATO in about 2024 this shows how safe countries want to be.
I think countries can disagree on certain matters that involve ethnicity or bad policies but that does not mean that it has gone to an extent that they have to leave as everyone should be able to share their opinions whenever they feel like as they would be putting themselves in danger as they might not be as strong as when they were together, making themselves vulnerable to stronger nations.
On the other hand, it is not good to have one relationship as you’re weaker by yourself and two is better than one. They can also share resources like weapons, and their tech blending in to create something amazing. However others might think it is better to have one strong alliance because they think you should just follow as they’re stronger.
In conclusion, it’s better to have multiple alliances that’ll build amazing long-standing alliances.
