Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

WINTER GAMES TALENT OR TECHNOLAGY?

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen

I am here today to discuss with you the topic of technology in competitive sports and whether it is improving the reputation of those games. I think that some sprots need technology in my opinion. Let me tell you why.

I believe VAR is good in football because in VAR the referee has a clear way to decide. The right decision has been increased from 84%- 96% because of VAR. VAR stands for video assistant referee. It makes it truthful and makes it so that most people won’t argue that the referee made a wrong choice. Also, if the referee is struggling to make a decision there is a team of expert’s helping the referee him. This is why I think in football VAR is a huge benefit.

It's a whole different story with skiing. I think in skiing it is damaging the reputation of skiing. This is because I think the cotan fibber in the suits is a cheat. If the Norwegian team were disqualified for cheating it is a good think but this is the only bad technology. So, I think in skiing technology is bad.

I think the halo in formula 1 is the best tech in sports it is a tech to save your life. Some people say it looks ugly but it is very good and lifesaving. Being safe is more important then, fun.

Some people may disagree as they believe all technology is good however in skiing its bad.

This is the reason that I think that technology is improving some sports but not others. Hope you all have a great day and thank you for listening and spending time.

Thank you for reading bye hope you enjoyed.

Jagraaj.
