Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

Have you ever wondered why tech is so big in sports now days or if it makes it equal. well I believe that it only widens the gap between fairnesss and equality in sports. some people might not have enough funds for that type of tech, the palyers might not be able to use them properly ,or they might not have the same equimpent that the other player has
First, it might not be equal if they do not have the same amount of funding. For example if a player from England has a good amount of funding and a player from africa has a significant less amount of funding then that england player and they got to the same tournament and play and the England player has evanced tech the african player hasno advanced tech at all and everything that he can do is all natural the race starts and the england player blow past the african player showing that it is not fair.
In addition, it also might not be fair if the palyers do not have the same equpiment. For example you can have two players on has brand a skiis and one has bran b skiis brand a might me be made to be faster than brand be alowing it to not be fair they might go to the same race and brand a is going way faster then brand b.
Then, it might not be fair if they do not know how to use it properly. For example they could be putting tricky equipment on and one person is experiencend with said technology they get in a race and if their tech is not put on right they might twist their ankle proving that is not fair.
In conclusion, I believe that in sports using tech does not make it equal it only widens the gap between fairness. It might widen the gap by having some players not haveing the funding for different types of tech, players might not be capable of using the technology, and thay might not be fair if they dont have the sam equipment
