Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

Talent or technology?
Good Morning ladies and gentlemen. I am going to talk to you about technology in sport today.
I believe that in football the VAR is a thing that is needed in that sport. The VAR stands for video assisted referee which helps the referee decide if it is an offside or not. It is also for fouls and to check if it is a goal or not. It is also a camera from like a system that records. The accuracy rose from 82% to 96%. I agree we should use it.
Next, I am going to talk about F1 driving. The safety thing that was added was the halo. The halo is a metal ring that keeps you safe from serious accidents. Some people said it was ugly but it does keep you safe so it should be there to protect you. Also some people said it disturbed indoor driving and they couldn’t see the drivers faces. I agree that we should use it.
Now, I am going to talk about carbon fibre in suits that was used in skiing. I disagree that we should use carbon fibre in our suits because when a team used it they got disqualified because of using it without other people knowing that team was using it and then they should’ve told the other teams that they were using it so that it would make it fair for everyone so if they didn’t cheat they would’ve never been disqualified .
Finally, I am going to talk about the hawk eye in tennis. The hawk eye is a camera that can replay footage so you can determine if it is a point or not. It is similar to the VAR because the VAR is like a system that you can replay footage with as well. The hawk eye was invented by Dr . Paul Hawkins, the system was first officially used in 2006 and is now owned by Sony. Now, there are no challenges under the current system and video replays are not used.
Someone who disagrees might think that it is bad because some people don’t have the technology. If you agree then thank you for agreeing with me.
Thank you for reading bye.
