Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

I think that technology could make sports better but I know that it sometimes makes fans angry.

I think technology makes sports more equal because if you are playing football and you get a relly bad decision the ref can check VAR ( it stands of the Video Assistant Referee) it see if it was a goal or not. Most fans get angry about VAR but it might just help your faverout team win a game or even better a trophy. Some runners might use technolgy to track their time, to get a better running position and improve performances is they are not that great.

On the other hand hand me and my Dad gets a bit angry at VAR because it takes a long time and sometimes ruins the game if it is it in the ending minutes. Most fans wants VAR not to not be involed in football/sports because the ref should stick with his first decision. Also runner in the Olimpics use the best teecnolgy they might break wolrd records or even become the best in the world but if the tecnolgy fails the profesional runners might get badly injured and they might not be able to compete.

In conlusion think that tecnolgy can makes sports more equal but it sometimes widens the gap. For me depends on what you are looking at and when you are looking at it.
