Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

While some may think it helps level out the playing field and it is increasingly obvious that technology sometimes widens the gap between competitiors. I agree with this statement because advanced tools are usually available only to wealthier athletes or teams, giving them a significant advantage.technology has changed modern sports shaping evrything like training methods and other things.

One reason why technology widens the gap in sports is because it creates unequal access to high tech training and equipment people with more money could afford better training and equipment. These tools can improve athletes overall performance, strength,technique, and injury prevention an example of that this is happening is that youy can see the bigger temas investing un new technology each year whilst the smaller ones can not.

Another reason is the cost of technologically made equipment used in competition, sports like cycling, swimming, and running have seen major performance boosts from gear such as aerodynamic bikes, carbon plate shoes, and high tech swimsuits. A supporting fact is that when hightech swimsuits were introduced in swimming competitions world records dropped rapidly but many athletes could not afford these suits, causing unfair disadvantages. This shows that equipment technology often rewards wealth, not purely skill.

A third reason is the use of data analytics and sports science teams which only the most financially powerful teams can maintain. These teams could study player health, and nutrition to create personalised strategies. A supporting fact is that top football clubs and Olympic programmes hire entire departments of analysts, physiologists, and technologists who monitor every detail of an athlete’s performance. Smaller clubs simply cannot match this level of scientific support, making the competition increasingly uneven.
