Does the use of technology make new world records less impressive than those of the past?

Technology is use in all kinds of sports such as Football,Tennis and Formula 1. It can make a vital differences and help referees make better and equal decision although it can sometimes been inaccurate.
It can help to make the right decision and make the games fair. Some of the technology are, VAR[video assistant referee] used in football to check if there has been a handball,penalty or a disallowed goal, Hawk Eye which is used in Tennis to see if the ball has gone out of the area.
However, technology can be bad in some ways as some countries have not got the facilities for all the latest technology. Nations like America, China and India can afford all the best products and tech and they can have a better advantage over other countries. Those countries could also buy better and more experienced coaches to get all the best tricks and skills in the book.
This has happened to me once when I was play a football match when the other team only had half pumped balls and cones whilst my team had high quality equipment and the other team had to wear over sized boots.
