Does the use of technology make new world records less impressive than those of the past?

You can relate technology to many sports today, and it is very common and very superb. For example in the Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games they had drones for the curling team and a large AI screen for fans at the back who couldn’t see what was going on and it showed everyone their every move so that they could see how they were performing. It is good because it can make the games more fair and athletes improve in playing. However it can cause advantages to to teams or countries with more wealth.
I think that is fair because technology fixes mistakes for example, In 2020 Aston Villa and Sheffield United were playing a match and mistake happened with the technology and it didn’t catch the ball crossing the line when it did so Aston Villa lost but the technology is fixed now and is catching every move of the players. It also stops unfair goals being given or missed, and the cameras check if the ball fully crosses the line and it reduces human error. Having technology in sports makes the games more fair and it does make a difference making sure no one is cheating and it helps referees make more fair decisions in matches.T echnology is so essential because in skiing or speed skating, races can be won by tiny fractions of a second and cameras decide exactly who crossed the finish line first so the judges don’t guess.
However, technology can make some sports less equal to others. Some countries and teams may have more better technology than others which can cause arguments with one another. In the Winter Games, athletes used aerodynamic suits and specially designed skis which gave them a pretty big advantage over countries who didn't have thie technology.
In conclusion, examples show that technology is worth having in sports because it helps referees make better decisions and it makes sports more safer giving many athletes a chance to try and make history wether you have better equipment or not and it shows that sports should remain about hard work and talent not just about money.
