Does the use of technology make new world records less impressive than those of the past?

I think that tecnology will make World Records by athletes seem less impressive because it can count as cheating.It is also unfair to other athletes who have put their sweat and dedication into perfecting their sport.It would be appauling that an athlete would try to take a short cut. On the other hand it would be inpressive that an athlete can do their sport AND use a peice of tech at the same time!This is an extrordinary skill but it is bad at the same time.Also there could be a new world record for fastest time doing a snowboard track using a peice of tech for example! This is a very split decision for me .THANKS!!
