Does the use of technology make new world records less impressive than those of the past?

I think that if you are using tech to get a high score than you are forgetting the ones in the past that have been amazing world records. So... talent or tech?
In August 2025, a Norwegian group of ski athletes were illegaly charged of using special, reinforced threads into the athletes suit. This team got a huge advantage and score which means records in the past were forgotten and the new score was replaced. In my opinion, if richer countries can afford better equipment, is it not unfair to those groups who can't buy this.
I think tech is a more dangerous option because it could suddenly break down or worse be hacked.
Some people may disagree with this because of age, illness or just because it helps them. For older people it gets harder to do more sports because of back aches and sore bones. If you have a illness than using tech possibly will help them fell their illness can't define who they are. Finally, some people will use it to get a high score because they may feel they are bad at this sport.
To conclude my last paragraph, I would like to say that if teams around the world are using tech over talent, it might encourage more teams. This could mean forgetting completely about talent and skill!?
