Does the use of technology make new world records less impressive than those of the past?

Sports have been developing and developing over time. And these days, it combined with new technologies helping players and providing better environments. Then here comes a question that I want to express my opinions on. "Does the use of technology make new world records less impressive than those of the past?"
My answer to this question is NO. I believe technology can't affect the meaning of new records. Records focus on human achievements in a specific period, not on their relationship with history. Therefore, we can't and shouldn't compare those together since they have different conditions. Even if athletes come to the future from the past, are they still going to make a new record certainly? It's possible, but not really sure. And I think the word technology became a term that encompasses many of the changes that occur in sports over time.
Some people who disagree with my opinion and standing on the other side might say athletes today have better equipment and training tools. They have advantages that didn't exist before because technology helps them to improve their routine and performance etc.
However, I want to say that even if people today have all those equipment and benefits, the efforts will not disappear. Equipment doesn't take away effort. And if we think differently, they still need to try very hard to get the new world records although they have all those advantages. To be specific, according to the Paris 2024 Olympics, genes like ACTN3 play a huge role. It's more focused on each athletes' abilities than the development of technology. Human contributions to these improvements such as dedication, motivation, and mental health etc. They are the ones who have to endure.
Also, why would sport be the only one which does not develop? Not only athletes, but there are also audiences who still watch sports like the Olympics. If technology mattered to recordings, they wouldn't have watched it. There are 2 types of people who try hard(athletes) and people who cheer and support them.
In conclusion, records are meaningful and impressive in any generation. The past is great as it is, and the present is great as it is. No matter how people are taking assistance now, but their hard work. Sports are the closest form of showing human limits containing the lives of each player and it's a wolrd entertainment which gathers everyone.
