Should modern sport test not just natural talent, but also training methods and technology, or does that make competition unfair?

I believe sport has never been only about natural talent. Talent may give someone the potential, but potential means nothing without training your skills. Modern sport's role is to measure how well athletes develop their abilities using discipline and strategy.

Sport is about improvment and pushing your limits. Many top athletes succeed because they combine their talent with training or modern preparation. For example, Lionel Messi is naturally talented, but his success came from years of hard work and improvment. Without training systems, modern preparations and coachings, his talent alone would not reach that level.

Technology in sport is simply a tool. It helps athletes maximize what they naturally have. In global events like the FIFA World Cup, teams use performance tracking and better equipment. These tools don't replace talent, instead they bring out the best in it.

Fairness is still plays a big role. So instead of rejecting technology, we should focus on creating clear rules and equal standards. Sport should test human potential in the modern world. Potential is not just about natural ability, but also about how well we train and utilitize innovation to grow stronger.
